Quick Update:

I am working on the 1996 roster now. It will be THE GREATEST release to date! Full rosters for all teams from 1996. Adding over 45 CFs to the roster. It will have about 98% real players and 2% CAP. It will also have player portraits for all players and of course, updated shoes.

If you have thoughts suggestions on other ways to improve this roster, please let me know!

That would be really great if there was someone who could create the jerseys so they could be included in the roster.

Another suggestion: Arena Music

I think Dee4Three had a modded arena music in his 2k17 classic mod...Gary Glitter, Rocky Theme, Bon Jovi etc.. That would be very cool again, if these arena classics were included.

It would be the icing on the cake and would raise the immersion again to the next level.

Unfortunately, to my knowledge there is no way to edit arena music. If there becomes a way, I would gladly add authentic arena music. If you know how, let us know.

No matter what I do, I keep getting the "corrupted save file" error message.

I had this mod installed for my 2K19 on my previous PC and it worked great. I recently got a new PC and started installing previous games on it from Steam. Did a new download of this mod since it had been a year or more since it had been updated, so it's a clean install of the mod.

I'm following the tutorial exactly and even watched the youtube video, but it keeps saying "corrupted save". Any ideas? Could it be some cloud saves getting in the way or something? Any help would be appreciated, really want to play this again.

*edit* I didn't install the sync.bin file because I didn't see it in the download. Woudl that fix the issue?

Yes, the sync.bin should fix it. I don't THINK this will mess up any of your other stuff currently saved either. As always, back it up just in case.
