Will Pay $$$ for your time - need help removing nicknames for CAP

Hey Guys!
I need some help for my 1992 roster. We have final attributes, 95% of CFs are done, just needs polished. One thing that is annoying are the player nicknames.
Does anyone have a tutorial on how to do this? Whatever I am doing isn't working. Do I need to launch something else in cheat engine to get this to work? I'll give someone a STEAM gift card if you can help me with this ASAP.
1) Steam is offline
2) Using launch day .exe
3) Load game
4) Load CE
5) on CE, I click the computer thingy and select nba 2k19.
6) Then on the folder icon next to it, I select what I want to edit (players for example).
7) in the bottom of CE, I can check the box for edit player.
8) I open up that player within the game.
9) but then, no data ever loads. The values are ??. I can't open them up pr anything. FML!
But....then I can't change any of the values or do anything in CE. None of the data is loading into cheat engine when I open that player in a game to edit or even just have him highlighted within the roster.

Can someone please help me asap? I can host a webinar so you can actually see what I am doing and help correct what I am not doing. Thanks!

I dont think import/export DNA helps.
My DNA-imported players have the nickname ABC in game's commentary, so rip.

Change Player Type using CE Tables to Fake or Normal

yo chill there is no need to pay someone when all you gotta do is read through that roster editing thread
