Not sure if best to post here, but didn't want to make a new thread, but is there a way to reduce or remove the backboard stanchion shaking like it's made out of rubber?
It really makes dunks look horrendously ugly IMO.

Just extract net_cloth.ClothMesh from my global.iff and put it into another global....

Hey mau! I'm using chensisi's global right now but would love to use your net physics with it. Is there a file that we can just import to the global.iff or is there hex editing involve? Thanks

I'm trying to do the same thing but with Lagoa's sweat global.
I've worked out how to export the net_cloth.ClothMesh from Mau's global.iff file (using 2K Explorer) but can't work out how to get it back into Lagoa's global.iff file.
Would love some help - if anyone can advise which tool is needed to do this last part it would be greatly appreciated.

Classic Shorts UPDATE: made then a little bit shorter and less baggier.....
...If we want baggier short 2k18 "baggier" shorts are still in the game

just set "None" to shorts type and copy shorts textures from 2k18...becouse UV are different and won't map correctly; 2k18 maps are perfect for that type of shorts.

This will allow retro roster to have 2 type of shorts

Another UPDATE: you can switch to nike shorts model in 2k19 for retro teams as the texture UV is the same

SHORTS TYPE "CLASSIC": Made them shorter
SHORTS TYPE "NONE"; Made them baggier for 2000's teams
No texture UV adjustement needed.....just change short type as you need

Most of 2k19 classic Team use "CLASSIC" shorts....
p.s.
I will try to add 3 type of shorts lenght in next update and see If we can set player specific shorts lenght

For anyone wondering this is currently how short files work:
Nike Shorts:
- shorts_nike.iff
This is used by the new nike uniforms for the default teams and it uses the same UV template as last year. It is called "NIKE" in a uniforms RDAT file.
Classic Shorts:
- shorts_classic.iff
- shorts_classic_retro.iff
The shorts_classic.iff is used by teams in the 2000's and mid to late 90's teams. It's called "CLASSIC" in the uniforms RDAT file.
The shorts_classic_retro.iff is used by early 90's teams all the way to the last classic team. It's called "RETRO" in the uniforms RDAT file.
The UV template for both these shorts is pretty much the exact same to the Nike shorts however both variations are a little different. The triangular cut at the side of the shorts is in a different position for both shorts but the retro version is pushed upward.
This is why most throwbacks in the game have two sets of short textures. It's also the reason why short texture sizes have been decreased from 2048x2048 to 1024x1024 in size, as I would imagine they took up a lot of space.
2K18 Shorts:
- shorts.iff
- shorts_retro.iff
These shorts use the old 2K18 UV template that isn't even used anymore. For some odd reason these shorts are in the files but they're not used by any teams... it does give us slots to work with however.
It looks like shorts.iff is called "NONE" in a uniforms RDAT as discovered by maumau, but I'm not sure what the shorts_retro.iff is called.
