Why is 2K not adding more alternative floors to the game?

Why is 2K not adding more alternative floors to the game?
They added the Nuggets' alternative floor, meaning that they have the copyright and the ability to add floors in updates.
But why are they not adding some of the other alternative floors like the Warriors and the Kings?
AND they have no city edition floor at all even the Jazz has used it during last season.
Anyone knows the reason?

I'm guessing they'll be in future updates. We can only speculate as to the reason for such timing; 2K don't usually communicate these things.

the floors are probably already in the files but they will not be visible until an official roster update

In which case, it's possible they just missed the cut-off for the most recent update when it was being finalised to be pushed through.

They did it last year. Whenever you picked a team to wear their alt or city jerseys, the court changed to match the jersey, if said team had a alt court. I guess they took that option out this years game.

The Celtics don't have a alternate floor, never have.
