Is there a controller where rumble works on PC?

I've tested a few ones that comes with dual shock but none of them seems to work with PC. Don't recommend ones that you think should work, recommend one that you have that does work. Thanks.

Xbox One controller (wired and wireless), rumble works on both. I use Xbox One Wireless controllers.

Xbox 360 controllers it also works. You could buy a cheap rock candy one for like $20, and the controllers works just like it does on consoles. You just plug it in via USB your CPU.

Here is something I wish was easier to find online about using PS4 controllers on PC:
NBA 2k19 has built in support so in general controller settings in STEAM turn off PS4 controller support (but make sure it detects your controller). That will allow you to see PS4 button prompts as oppose to the XBOX ones.

That's for anyone who may have been struggling with that as I was...

I have an Xbox One gamepad and vibration DOESN'T work at all. I think it's because I'm in Windows 7 and not 10. It was literally HELL to get the drivers working properly for the gamepad to function in wireless mode (again, in Windows 7) with that dongle thing, or whatever...

Say, does the vibration actually make the shooting easier? I've read that it vibrates when its time to get an excellent release, but since mine doesn't work... I guess I could try getting a wired Xbox 360 gamepad, but they're so hard to find (originals, at least) these days... sure, I can get "alternates", but they totally suck IMO

Any suggestions?

That's correct, the rumble is there to help out as another cue for Excellent/Green releases. Definitely helpful if you can get it to work.

As I said, I picked up a Logitech F710 a couple of months ago, and it does the trick.

That's strange.

Im on Windows 7 and I use an Xbox One Wireless controller. The rumble works perfect for me on all my games that utilizes it.

Mine was working fine when I initially installed it but now it only vibrates on free throw. No more vibrating on shots :(

Well that is strange as I use my PS4 controller via USB and the rumble works just fine. Remember there is no need in this game to use a 3rd party control app such as DS4 Windows as 2K19 recognizes PS4 controllers natively.

OMG so stupid...it's because I changed shooting type to real player %. If you do that, it no longer rumbles on shots. Why would 2k do that...that's stupid

Well, there's no need to indicate the optimal release point if it's set to Real Player %. The cue is only there for release timing, after all.

It doesn't matter when you release it when you use real player %. It makes sense that they wouldn't have rumble for that.

It rumbles when you shoot ft, even if ft is set to player %. Rumble taking place would create better player experience.

It's really strange Dee. Say, did you get any trouble installing the drivers for the gamepad? To me it was a hellride... The second thing that's mostly strange: if I plug it directly with a USB cable, the controller vibrates IMMEDIATELY for a few seconds (I guess to let the user know that it has been plugged in).

Can you check for me if the vibration option shows up as a tab on your controller settings window? Mine doesn't show... I guess it should appear beside the "test" tab. I'll post a screencap where I guess it should appear:

OK, I just found out through using Cheat Engine (not proud of it... just for the sake of solving this) that the controller indeed vibrates. It's just too subtle (and way too fast) to notice at normal game speed... If you reduce the game speed to 10%, one can actually notice the gamepad rumbling... oh well
