How is Offline Gameplay Compared to 2K18?

Postby bowdown on Sun Sep 16, 2018 4:25 am

Hello guys which game do you think has better offline single player gameplay? I mean the offline on-court action.

Please feel free to leave your reasons why as well.

Thanks.

Voted 2K19.

Reason being: You can't just blow by the defense any time you want, that alone makes the game better for offline play. The defense in general is improved, including in transition.

Player movement might be worse in some cases than 2K18, but overall the game is playable in offline mode this year.

2k19 - by a mie.

Look, NBA 2k18 was probably one of the worst gameplay wise NBA 2k's to date.

NBA 2k19 has some brilliant animations and moments that I' have absolutely loved thus far. Defense is tougher too.
Willing to help complete rosters for season/my league use.

Neither offer realistic basketball. Vote for 2k19 because its still supported.

I personally will spend most of the year working on sliders and tendencies.

Defense is tougher is such a funny statement.

Defense IS better (tougher) in NBA 2K19. The blow by issue which allowed you to get to the hoop with anybody at any time without even doing moves doesn't exist anymore. That alone makes it better/tougher

Nobody said it was perfect, but comparing the two games defensively isn't close. I wouldn't even be playing 2K19 if it had the exploits of 2K18.
