2K19 Broadcast Camera - Credit to Mike Wang

Postby Dee4Three on Thu Aug 09, 2018 7:08 am

Hi all,

I have been very hard on 2K (especially since 2K18), but this was pretty fantastic of Mike Wang.

I tweeted one of my gameplay videos stating that it was a shame that they took away broadcast generic for 2K18. See the tweets below.

Mike took my tweet seriously, and stated that they will bring the 2K17 broadcast generic cam back for 2K19, and Beluba will also be brought back.

Again, pretty cool how fast he acted on this. Not being able to get a good broadcast view in 2K18 was really frustrating, part of it was because the height/zoom wasn't as adjustable, as well as the backend of the camera being too close to the player bringing up the ball. I'm glad that broadcast generic will make a return.

That's awesome. (Y)

I hope they get rid of the balloons that occasionally drop, though. They were distracting and obscured the view on broadcast cam.

I know, I should have mentioned that.

Also, for clarification. He isn't getting rid of the unique stadium broadcast camera. He is having three cameras for broadcast.

1. Broadcast (which is the unique ones for each arena)

2. Broadcast Stadium (which will be like 2K17 broadcast generic)

3. Broadcast Low (which will be the old Beluba camera)

This is great news for me. I kept looking for that camera view just last night and didn't realize it was not in the game any more.
