New camera angles

Postby ThePointForward on Mon Aug 20, 2018 6:37 pm

So while I was combing through Twitter stuff, I found some info on camera angles:
- new default for player locked modes, we'll be able to try this Friday when demo comes out
- baseline cameras now track (or at least have the option) the player instead of the ball - which is what I personally prefer

Source (yes, that is my alter ego):
Also kudos to Live devs on responding quickly.

Excellent news, especially the player tracking. That'll be a lot better in the player locked modes.

As I got used to sideline based cameras mainly because the flipping on possession change screwed my breaks often this is great news indeed.

The problem with ESPN angle in Live 18 is that my player, as mentioned in the tweet, was outside of the screen and out of position and AI just passed the ball to my man who just ended up with open jumper.

Absolutely. I struggled to find a camera I liked for The One/LIVE Events in NBA Live 18, but a combination of the zoom/angle and tracking the ball rather than the player made it difficult to find one that worked.
