Can't tell who it is, except to say it definitely isn't James Harden again.

The ear and hair plug is uncanny.

But if I'm not mistaken they had a random person in the promotional photos last year as well who looked nothing like james harden. So a grain of salt.

I was trying to go back and find that, as I'd forgotten what they did last year.

Almost looked more like Curry than Harden

I thought he did mocap for 2K. Did he do mocap for both games?

I think both games have tapped him to do mo-cap.

I actually think it looks like Terry Rozier... but I doubt they would use him.

In regards to Wade, I highly doubt it. Unless they are going the 2K route and having a type of legends cover, like a tribute to Wade cover.

If that's the case, maybe retro content would be available in exhibiton play (and able to take into dynasty).

Or maybe it's Celtics legend, and Tracys Morgan double Marcus Banks. Who knows.

It's just a placeholder. How many times has the placeholder image actually looked like the cover shot? I bet they probably haven't taken the picture yet

They did it way back in the day with a couple of their covers, which I guess is why we still speculate when we see the teaser images.

Harden, AD, Curry, Durant seem to be the most likely.

Another option could be having a legend on the cover. It would be hard to top the MJ cover of 2k11 or the MJ, Bird, Magic cover of 2k12, but the option is there.

Good suggestions. I could see them going with The Brow.

It's also possible we dont get the cover at EA play. Last year we got a few trailers and the cover star leaked a few weeks later.

True, I wouldn't be surprised if it stays under wraps a little longer.
