How many of you are planning to update to NBA 2k20 PC ???
The reason why I am asking is to decide if it makes sense to continue updating 2k18 PC
If there are only a few people left on 2k18 I'm taking a vacation until NBA 2k20 releases.
Let me know by replying otherwise this is my LAST RELEASE.
Whoever wants to continue updating the Rosters has my OK.
Thanks!!
This year, we captured hundreds of new in-air collisions, hard fouls, grab blocks, and swats to let the rim protectors have their presence felt.
MW: 1st step launches are now tied to speed w/ ball rating, not ball handling. There are 3 tiers of launch animation packs that can play faster or slower based on your rating.

Thanks for the updated rosters. It will keep me entertained for this summer until next season starts.
I am going to get 2k20 (after watching gameplay and looking at reviews--hopefully they got the fouls hooked up properly and improved gameplay). I am happy with this last update. Will let me simulate all the new teams in myleage Contracts aren't a super big deal to me, personally. But, if this is the last update, thanks for doing a great job on the roster and ratings and tendencies this past year. Your updates on the roster-- and the player ratings-- has always been excellent.
As for my opinion, take a nice long break and we will look forward to 2k20.

1st, thanks again for doing these rosters!
2nd, I will probably not move to 2k20 unless there is something new in 2k20 gameplay that is compelling.
I like mycareer, but not the microtransactions that are a part of it. Nor do I like the real $ required to improve my player, so I grind away in 2k18 and am up to an 80 overall. MyTeam is also fun, but again real $ are required to get good players (although that mode will go away entirely in 2k18 in December). So I mostly play MyLeague or Play Now, hence my focus on (offline) gameplay, and rational for sticking with 2k18, vs investing in 2k20 which may not have much enhancement to those 2 modes.
I understand that I will be in the minority, and that it may not make sense for you to invest your time in updating this roster if there are very few users. If there are many others, great! If not, thanks for providing a base for the 2019-20 season for 2k18.
Cheers!

ya, ya, it could be all hype! but it looks like they are trying a bunch of gameplay stuff.... I am just happy that they are adding more gameplay items to the game. Looks promising. I'll be wating for the review on 2k20.
these are pretty cool:This year, we captured hundreds of new in-air collisions, hard fouls, grab blocks, and swats to let the rim protectors have their presence felt.MW: 1st step launches are now tied to speed w/ ball rating, not ball handling. those are pretty cool. I always thought your player ratings were spot on, darth. Other rosters make guys too fast, too slow, not enough acceleration, etc etc.... but just having 3 tiers of launch speed is a welcome change. Looking forward to see what you come up with, if you get 2k20.
edit: seems like also change of court size/player size. could be very interesting. https://twitter.com/LD2K/status/1158413 ... 86016?s=20

Rosters is not perfect (PG hasnt #13, Jordan Bell is still at GSW etc...) but it's a good start
bongo88 wrote:looks great. thanks for the last update for the 2k18 rosters. especially withe 2k20 releasing in a few days.
here is 2k20 all time bulls vs all time lakers. gameplay switches to broadcast mode about 9:45 or so.
anyways, 2k20 gameplay looks pretty solid to me. I was wondering why shaq was so "agile", then i remembered these are the all time teams. so shaq gets a more appropriate movement rating (than his later years, lol).
anyways, thanks for keeping the 2k18 rosters updated the past year. Your updates are have been great.
