Nice video. What camera are you using I like the zoom out effect when the ball was being brought up the court

Thanks! It does look pretty good there, the home swipe cover the new score number a little bit, I might tweak that. The notification box works fine but other graphics cover it so I've gone with a different option for v2.

V2 spectrum coming soon with texture by TwisT. Remade with 2k18 format. The notification box will work just like the original 2k18 scoreboard but stretched to fit size, any suggestions?

sorry about quality. it will look great in game for you. I just can't run the game too high my computer isn't great
timeouts are a little off too still working on it

Installed your Cleveland dornas, they don't showup, even the default dornas are gone, what gives, and how do I get them back?

Any preference on this? I will just put both in and make a 2 pack like I did with root (city + team options)

Score swipe:
Team swipe:

Full swipe:

I tried different sizes for normal and 3's but it didn't work as I wanted.

Looking good, I think I prefer the team swipe but both are good. More options make it better for everyone.

I tried to keep v1 but it might have been replaced by new one. If anyone wants v1 I will put external link or upload separately maybe

I had the same problem
In his download there was a 004 folder (with iff files inside) and a 004.iff file. I dont think he meant to include the iff file. dont install that one. I assume you already did so erase it from your modded (waigua) folder. That worked for me

I made more dornas than the original has so therefore I modded the slotlist within the 004.iff file. If what you did works then great all you would be missing out on is one of my dornas I forget which one. You can rename and replace if you want to use it.
For others with this problem: delete 004.iff from your modded/dornas and then restart your game. When the game starts back up it will use original file within the game now.

I don't have a full grasp of what the difference is and why people are having problems but I live in the US and play the english version of the game and this 004.iff file works as intended. If you have different settings or are in a different region then maybe like 004_eu.iff might apply (for example) to your game. I'm sorry that it causes problems for some and works for others but I have written up a tutorial already in the tutorial section that provides more information on dornas and slotlists but I for sure do not know everything about how it works. Maybe others from different areas or language settings will be able to find it useful and apply it to their game and hopefully we can resolve what the differences are so that we can make the mods more compatible for everyone

This might involve having to release all 004.iff, 004_eu.iff, 004_ph.iff, etc. when releasing a dorna pack but if so then that will cause less confusion for all. Maybe a template to easily reproduce the necessary instructions idk we can figure something out

Put together a texture for the Altitude Sports scoreboard that the Nuggets use if you or anyone would want to turn it into a scoreboard.

Lol really dude? You a fuckboy o boo hoo I didn't read and respond to whatever bs you sent me it's been what like a half day. You voluntarily downloaded altered files for a video game that works perfectly fine without mods. JUST DON'T USE MODS if you can't understand how to get them working for you. You ain't gonna die in 12 hours without the cleveland stadium dornas working correctly. I've helped you or at least tried to multiple times already on other threads with this same exact topic. You always have problems or don't read instructions and do something that doesn't make any sense. I've gone out of my way to help other many times on here if you would just wait I would have helped, I have been working on scoreboards. But now I see you bitching I am just going to delete whatever you sent because it is not worth my time to help such an ungrateful fuckboy.

Thanks TwisT! This shouldn't be too hard to make

Edit update
A lot of the elements are in the same spot as the yes scoreboard so I've already got it looking pretty close. Threw the default in blender and tweaked some of the Yes scoreboard number sizes and widths etc.

First off, you find your fuckboys where you sleep. Secondly, if you look a few posts above this one, Syncinatti said YOU put the iff file in the wrong place, which is why it didn't work. It would be nice to check your work, before releasing it, instead of blaming someone else for YOUR mistake. I did exactly what you said, and YOUR error is why it didn't work. I could care less about all that noise you're making. Syncinatti pointed out YOUR mistake, so its been corrected. Don't bitch at me, for something YOU did. So I'm gonna make like Smokey The Bear, and put this fire out.

Bonus is just a little yellow triangle with a + on it and when the shotcloks hits 7 the box turns red.

Thanks already on it but this is helpful. I watched the cavs game a bit with league pass on the denver broadcast so I could see the animations and stuff too. (wasn't happy as a cavs fan). When I saw the bonus + I thought it was pretty cool that there was something different that gets the same point across

Trying to see if I can figure it out through blender

GTFO OUT OF MY THREAD!

I didn't make any mistake. IF you can read I explained what I did. I added a slot to the list within 004.iff. Not my fault you don't know what you are doing. Nice edit to your post didn't sound big and bad enough the first time around? Again I made no errors or mistakes, you have no idea what you are doing!

I got the bonus + to look pretty close! The shotglow I've been working on for a while and just can't figure out a good way to put it. It worked exactly the way it does on tv once and then I made another edit and now it will either leave a red box on screen or I have to make it flash in and out. Idk why it only worked the one game but it was perfect and I haven't been able to reproduce it exactly since.

Thanks I worked backwards from looyh's espn scoreboard but I can't figure out what I did wrong with the timeouts when turning them from his TO: 7 back into little boxes. If I can figure that out it's close to release but I might just restart from the beginning so that it works right

nice work on the scoreboard. clever usage of transparency on the team colors :) I actually didn't extract the scoreboard, just assuming you used transparency to create the circle shape. But i did check it out in game and it looks great in game :) very good work from both you and twist

yup thanks!

this as the team color
Image

If I can figure out how to add the shine/highlight the top upper half of the circles have that would be a nice touch
It makes it look like the logos are inside a glass sphere or bubble instead of 2d flat
Image

The whole thing seems to have some translucency look to it on the real one.
The real timeouts don't completely wipe off the screen either more of a brightly lit on and dimmed off

my tsn scoreboard had a shine on the team colors. also looyh nbc sports scoreboard had a shine on it. can't remember how we got those. i'll look into sometime this weekend. but if you disect them or port yours using those as the base, you will probably figure it out in a few days.

haha thanks for pointing out tsn that's one my favorites but haven't used it in a while
I knew nbc had that kinda look but looyh makes magic so I don't expect it to look as good as his

it might be days before I'm happy with the look but I know where to focus now thanks! my scorebug isn't exactly aligned with the team color meshes o well v2 will look a little nicer when I take the time to figure it out

haha, looks like you are figuring it out. looyh and me used black and greys built into the background. i usually used white on the shader texture. not sure about looyh's nbc shader texture.
here's some tips i made in case it helps you out.
https://i.imgur.com/HrBIdRo.png

the decimal strenght is 0.0 for weakest-- 0.99 for strongest. combine scorebug_opt decimal strenghth with gloss layer opacity to get desired results. just test in game for gloss strenghth.

Did some editing with one of the stadiums from TG's small gym mods pack
Image
Image

Changed basket to style of the others. Don't ask about glass square or padding color because I can't make sense of it yet. tried a few times.
Gave the fans chairs. And added a scoretable. I don't like the gatorade chairs but they worked with that item package I chose from screate. Might change those later
I made a lot of stuff able to edit now in the stadium and blacked out a lot of walls and stuff but liked the brick and put it back in. The "items" like chairs and scoretable I didn't mess with the .scne file yet

The file size is huge because there are a ton of unnecessary files as I was trying to get something to work. I'll check it out later to cut out some but if anyone wants to look into it here:
http://www.mediafire.com/file/m6rss1tka3egrbt/s729.iff

just messing around some more got the street hoop in there

This stadium file originally didn't have a crowd at all and TGsoGood added crowd (my guess is crowddata file idk) so I went another step beyond that and added some courtside chairs from a similar stadium file (I think maybe magic summer league) so that the crowd wasn't just floating.

I'm happy to be able to run the game at all on my cheap laptop so I'm not much help with performance comparison anyway. I didn't notice any huge lags or anything bad either though.

TGsoGood thanks if you got any ideas for me to try or anything with these small stadiums lmk I was looking into bringing some of these smaller arenas from 2k17 over if I can figure out how to include the files that aren't there anymore if it would work

I tried moving the backwall of the highrise and swapping out baskets to make full sized but messed something up

I really wish I could revive this scoreboard

Yeah I wanted that highschool scoreboard too. I couldn't convert it.

I also want the Terminal 23 mycourt and the default mycourt from 2k16

What did you try with the high school scoreboard?

That's a screen from 2k18 so I was able to swap out "VISITOR" with away tri code.

The other things like score and time are not text like they are in the original 2k18 scoreboard

I've been able to do some interesting things with the vcuielement file but all I can reliably swap out are text values. I changed "BONUS" to the text of the clock (just an example).

The individual lights of the numbers lighting up or off are some other type of data/effect

I noticed, ksmiz, that you dug up "VC_Font": "jd_lcd_rounded" Using that font, you could make the highschool scoreboard. Not sure where the lcd_rounded.dds so you could make the LED more square, but the JD_lcd_rounded font could be used with the rounded corners. just need to build a lcd grid in the background texture image. the away score should sit ontop of the background texture.

Not sure where you dug up the jd_lcd_rounded font. Did you find other fonts when rummaging around?

moving the ScorebugHighSchool.VCUIELEMENT from the 2k18 scorebughighschool.iff (OC archive) to the 2k17 scorebughighschool.iff might work. not sure if you tried that.

I would move the 2k18 element to the 2k17 iff..... then add all of the 2k17/2k18 highschool.iff to the 2k17/2k18 newscorebug.... then rename scorebughighschool.vcuielement to newscorebug.vcuielement.... and see if the led lights work.

not sure if you tried that.... or something along those lines....

also, if you open the scorebughighschoo.scn in blender/notepad.... the highschool useses alot of different elements than the regular newscorebug.

anyways, i never did download 2k17 again. havent tried any of this out. of course, easiest would be to use the jd_lcd_rounded font. Unless you found other lcd fonts when you were rummaging around.
Cheerio!

Bongo the lcd font was in your list of fonts haha

I got the result of my screenshot above after doing the rename of the vcuielement file (I then changed visitor to away tri but basically that's what you get with rename)

I will try out some of your other suggestions and see where it takes me.

I think the lcd font dds would be in english.iff but not 100% on that
