The three-point line was what I had in mind.

It's strange. They've usually gotten that right in previous games.

Pretty sure the 3-pt line has been in for all classic teams since 2K13. 2K12 was the last time they really gave a damn about any classic teams prior to Jordan.

It's certainly the last time that the retro content was heavily focused upon.

The three point line was on those courts for 2K12 as well. It was for the NBA's greatest mode that they only took it away.

They keep the 3 point line so that you can play by current NBA rules against current teams.
Thats also the reason they inflate some player raings for retro teams when it comes to things like 3 point ratings and tendencies.
I wish we could just play by the rules of the Era

It'd be nice if the three-point line could be eliminated if a pre-1980 team is selected as the home team. Back in the days of the Decade All-Stars in NBA Live, the 50s, 60s, and 70s All-Stars courts lacked a three-point line, so if they were the home team, there were no three-pointers.

Would be a cool gameplay option. But I mentioned before that a great gameplay option would be the ability to select alternate courts for teams (like if I'm using the Thunder, the ability to select and play in keyArena).

Another cool thing would be to have classic options for the different rules. Maybe you want to play by the 60s rules for a game and only have two pointers. That would be really awesome.

For sure. There are other things that I'd prioritise, of course, but that'd be really cool to have retro rules options.
