Online GamePlay Tweaks/Settings

Is there any tool that I could use to stabilize my connection for Online Play?I always get kick out of the game that always results to a loss during online matches and on games played on MyTeam. Internet in our country sucks :( Would a VPN help?

If your connection is already slow or problematic, a VPN is not going to make it any better. A VPN can alleviate bandwidth throttling, but it's not going to speed things up or improve the quality of your connection.

In fact, it depends where is the problem : connection itself (degraded xDSL), client (your drivers), server (2K!!!), routing/peering (ISP)

If it's your ISP, VPN could improve stabilization but not the latency.
I never try for a game but i can tell your my little story about my previous ISP who applied an awful QoS for megaupload services (50kbps).
I used to use a VPN hosted on my dedicated server (linux/openvpn)... then 25Mbps

If it's your computer, check your network card drivers, especially if you use the intregrated chipset of your motherboard.

Thanks for the reply guys. I was able to play 2 successful online games with a little bit of lag but it was tolerable last weekend via MyTeam :D Im not sure how and Im not sure why did this happened.
But last night i wasn't able to play successfully again. (probably 2k servers? or just my connection probably?)
Do you have any useful links for tutorial on how to this vpn tweaks or any open source VPN tool that i could use for this? I tried browsing but wasn't able to find the right one. Thanks!

What kind of speeds do you get on your connection? What kind of issues do you have with it in general?
