when selecting a pick and fade frequently the player will roll instead of fading pick and rolls are defended very poorly by the CPU and if they collide with the screener they can drag him as they move so many easy layups are blown the CPU rarely takes timeouts and the timeout meter will almost always show 7 timeouts available there's some random camera shake when playing on the road that can't be turned off the CPU does not bite on any pump fakes, over the course of the game I've played the CPU has only been faked out 3 times. and the biggest one of all is....
the terrible post gameFor the life of me I can't score in the post. My success rate on post-ups is about 10-15%. At first I thought I was just getting used the game so I spent some time in practice working on post moves. When it came to playing games nothing had changed. I was missing point blank hook shots * fadeaways with Giannis over and over even though he was being guarded by CJ McCollum. Even when I managed to have a PG switch and defend Monroe in post the usual result was a miss. At this point I knew the issue was the game. I went to blacktop and played 1-on-1 with Giannis v Jason Terry. Just as it was in game easy shots were being missed. I decided to test the theory with the games best post player- Demarcus Cousins. No change - just constant misses.
I suspect the issue may be that 2k counts these attempts as heavily contested. I hope a patch can at least fix some of these issues because ramping up the sliders for close shots and inside shots to 100 made zero difference.
