controller setting

Hey guys,

I got following problem: apparently I can't save the controller settings or the camera angle. I am able to change them in the game but when I shut down the game and restart it, the changed settings are at default again. Does somebody has an advice?
Same problem with the camera angle too...

Which platform? It could be a bug. I haven't had that issue on PS4 yet, but there was an issue in NBA 2K17 where every so often the controller settings would revert to the defaults, so it may remain unresolved this year.

Oh don't worry...this is an issue I never see posted on the Reddit at least. 2K manages never to save my controller settings online...so I have to go do it before each match and probably piss my opponent off. This has happened at least the past 3-4 games though. Wish they would figure it out. Oh yea...did I mention they didn't fix it in 2K18? So no, it's not a bug @haaaaanis

Sounds like an all-too familiar bug, then.

IDK about controller setting regarding keys binding cuz I'm playing wit PS4 one with default settings, but camera settings and controller settings like Pro-stick config etc. changed from "Camera relative" to "Absolute" doesn't saving after restarting the game

Are you changing that during a match?

in MC camera changes only during the match but changes saves during all playing session (all saturday and sunday for example  ). controller settings changed in common menu. after restarting the game settings get back to default: default camera and "Camera relative" stick.

Coach and main gameplay settings are good

Same issue.

This time I changed the controller settings to my liking again, then played a game in "Play Now" (where I also changed the camera angle), then I went to MyTeam and after I left MyTeam I checked the controller settings and they were at default again. Same with the camera angle.
It seems that the game doesn't save these settings properly...

This has been in the game since 2K15, at least for me. Been reporting this to 2K Support for 4 years in a row...

Absolutely nothing helps. Happens most of the time when switching game modes, but can't tell for sure it it's random or not. It doesn't matter if you change the settings in game, in the options menu, in any of the game modes. Seems like this year the same happens with MyCareer's difficulty. Saw it reverted to Park difficulty or whatever it's called.

I've noticed that too. Strange.

Received a reply from 2K Support. Basically the same thing they've responded with the previous three years:
Hello Kallabow!

Thanks for contacting us!

We really appreciate you taking the time to reach out to us about the controls reverting back to default settings. Please know that we’ve gathered your suggestion and will be forwarding this to the development team!

Though we can’t promise these changes will appear in game, we really appreciate you sending them in. Thanks to dedicated and passionate players like you, we’re able to keep improving our game with each passing year!

If you’d like to send us any other notes on your experience with NBA 2K18, please do not hesitate to contact us again as it would be our pleasure to hear from you!

Sincerely,

Christina G.
