Too late for me unfortunately, and I'm not starting over. Definitely advice to heed, however.

They really should've been more forthcoming with this information when the deal is being presented, or indeed, it shouldn't be tied to an endorsement opportunity at all. Just another one of those puzzling design choices.

It better be patched. I have a feeling the growing wave of anger towards 2K is going to make them patch the VC among other things. They need to eat their mistake and admit that they crossed the line in ravaging their own customers.

Actually, come to think of it, I believe I did see something about them re-opening the news stand via a forthcoming patch, possibly in a recent Tweet. It would be a good move.
