Question on Steam Family Share

Hi to all, I will be buying the game on steam and Im thinking if my cousin who lives in the same house as mine play online using the family share options on steam. I believe in 2k17 2K removed the online feature on family share. Thanks!

Edit: Just tried it, the account using the shared game cannot access online content. Maybe this is what 2K is doing to counter the cheaters online.
