Talk about NBA Live 18 here.

I want Live to improve on is there movement because the players looked and moved little stiff and i just hope they add a little more animations like being able to block lay ups and dunks. I just hope the game sells good and is better than Live 16.

Not sure what you mean by adding the ability to block layups and dunks, as that's possible in NBA Live 16. If anything, that's something that needs to be tweaked so that it's possible to alter more shots in the lane without necessarily blocking them.

How NBA Live went backwards from here, is beyond me. You are looking at a 8 year gap from than til now. The shooting motions are far less herky jerky and look natural, the post looks a little suspect, but it really looks like they had something worth working with here.
Even the graphics are really impressive.

They started over from scratch, and changed direction several times. That left them playing catch-up.

A few screenshots leaked out. Will I get in trouble for posting them here?

I don't think? I'd wait for Andrew before posting anything, though.

I saw them. Menu looks pretty good.
Something about that LeBron is a little off-putting though. Can't put my finger on it.

I looked for them and couldn't find them. I think they were already removed.

I posted them on OperationSports if you want to check them out. Still waiting to hear what Andrew says before I post them on here.

Any news of this on the Nintendo Switch?

I would assume it's fine to post. Definitely interesting to see the WNBA presence.

No word on platforms as yet. We can assume PS4 and X1, everything else is subject to confirmation at this point.

Here are the images:

The neck of the jersey on Lebron looks off. Also it looks like they're still using the ignite engine because the player model prototype looks the same. This tells me that the animations may still be stiff with herky jerky movements because it all starts with the base model if that's off the animations will be off.

I'll refrain from making final judgements until we have more than two blurry photos of a screen to go by.
Fri Apr 14, 2017 4:51 pm
Lol someone was complaining about muscle definition in a blurry screenshot
Fri Apr 14, 2017 7:28 pm
Not really much you take away from theses pics, blurry and only half a screen, il wait till at least the EA event to cast any judgement as gameplay is where its at for me

Judging from past experience, images released from a game ahead of release usually aren't the highest quality images like the ones you see once the game is released. We're still waaaaaay out from release date. Lots of things will change between now and then.

I'm not really worried about the picture as long as the game is fully featured with roster editing it'll be a first day buy for me.

They'll also be better quality than blurry photos of a screen, too. Not enough to sink our teeth into yet.
But since it is something to look at out now, the collar of the jersey does look weird at first glance. However, I think it's the blur and the shine off the screen. It looks a bit square at first glance, but on closer inspection, it's round. You can't really make out a lot of detail from such a low quality shot, though.

Somebody over on OS confirmed that this was an older build as well. I think he has an account on here but I don't think he's very active.

Well, if nothing else, the presence of the WNBA logo invites speculation.

Exactly, if the game is fully featured, I'll be buying it on day one as well.
But it must have a multi user association for me, I can't believe they have had that out of the features for so long...

With all this time developing the game I hope they really work on signature animations to differentiate players. That's something that always bugged me was how all players had the same shooting form, that needs to be fixed because that's where the competition has them beat.

If EA was smart they would release the WNBA as a separate game for like $20 during the summer time, than release NBA Live 18 in September for $40, just so at the end of the day they aren't losing out on $60.
