Thanks Dee. As long as the new stadiums has the same dorna slots numbers as V2 for the specific team, it should work fine. If not, then the dornas will be out of order. It would just look weird. Maybe you could send me those stadiums so I could test and fix if applicable?

I thought about it a little more, and it should be fine.

I made some other needed updates I thought I would share.


I converted Shuajotas great Sheed...we needed a new Sheed.




I converted the 2K20 haired Ray Allen (The body and face I had for him before... I wasnt a fan)




And I converted Iamescobarlopez Loy Vaught for the 99-00 Pistons.




I've done a lot of other updates, but figured I would share a few.

I would like to create a soundtrack for this roster that I can share. Has anybody gotten looyhs audio tool to work for 2K17?

I converted the 2K20 Chris Mullin to 2K17 (90-91 Warriors and 99-00 Pacers)



I also swapped out the 06-07 Nuggets for the 07-08 Nuggets, including swapping out many portraits, etc. They look awesome (Court, jerseys, faces, etc). I made new portraits for Iverson, Melo, Atkins, Steven Hunter, and several others. And converted Mr. Stars amazing Diawara from 2K20, and R4zors Anthony Carter and Chucky Atkins. I also converted the Nene from 2K20 and gave him the appropriate hairstyle for that season.













I also created several portraits for end of the bench guys who did not have them in V2

Great game there. Allan Houston was on fire ! Anyway, I noticed the 07-08 Nuggets has a different format of Dorna locations and slots number from the video preview. I checked at my end, good thing the dornas I made for the 07 Nuggets will also work with that new format you assigned the 08 Nuggets (whew).

Example:
V2 Dornas Format for 06-07 Nuggets: 3, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1 (last four is for the backboard mini dornas)

V3 Dornas Format for 07-08 Nuggets: 6 only (no dornas on backboard)

*Will be an issue if the dornas were combined to make one letter or logo.

Just so you guys know, I have been doing A TON of work on this roster.... V3 will be a lot more complete with so much new stuff for you to look at.

Many of these faces come from iamescobarlopez, and I can't thank him enough for the work he put in for 2K18/2K19 and 2K20. He gave me permission to use these. I converted all the faces you see below from various games. Other credits include Mr. Star for the amazing Darrell Armstrong, as well as KelvinChan (who is working on the 2K19 retro project), and a couple of these faces are from R4zor as well (And the Iavaroni is from Shuajota, thanks!). Kelvinchan will be added to the credits, I believe the other names are already on there.

Again, thank you to all modders (And 2K themselves) for giving me so many great faces that I could convert for this roster. I'd say each conversion can take anywhere from 20 mins to 45 mins, but they are ALL worth it. V3 might be the last update for this roster, so I want to make it as complete as possible. If I missed you in the mentions above, reach out to me.

I have quite a few more faces I'll be bringing over to 2K17 for this roster before it is released. But at the moment I am going back and forth between modding 2K19 and 2K17.....and actually started getting back into 2K14 (PC) a bit... love having all these options!

I plan on releasing V3 no later than December 1st. I've made a lot of progress.

Just noticed that 14-15 Warriors has red outlines on the numbers on their jerseys. Also, everytime I try to use 16-17 Warriors on home, it always crashes, although if I use them as an away team, it works.

Edit: Varejao in 06-07 Cavs has the wrong cyberface I think?

Some more updates for the roster.

Converted many faces, and made portraits for 11 of the 13 players on the 08-09 Magic (The Nelson and Howard were already in the game, I may make them anyway though). But they have 100% portraits

Some original makers face credits. The Artest by Cockboom, the Lamar Odom by Mr. Star (Incredible work...), I believe the Gasol was made by RKJ, and Shuajota made the Adam Morrison, Fisher and Andrew Bynum. Also, Addison, Rumeal Robinson, Nachbar and Jayson Williams were made by the talented iamescobarlopez, and the Deshawn Stevenson was made by WhiteChocolate55

This one seems great for popping in with friends and playing head to head in exhibition. My e-sports league could have some fun with this in 2021

I made a new Dwight Howard portrait for the 08-09 Magic (Taken from the finals).

This team will have 100% custom portraits made by me.





I also made a new Jameer Nelson portrait (from the 2009 finals)

Sir as u said, the october's .exe is the best in gameplay, at some points, yes indeed. the dribble is quick, game speed is fast although realistic, but I found various issues:
1. the AI of CPU making mistakes so often( cpu players run out of baseline, standing until the end of shotclock then randomly take a shot...etc)
2. the scoreboard issue(sometimes the score being added before the ball actually goes in...)
3. couldn't save the coach settings(every time before or after I played a game, it resets to default)

Maybe u have brothers to play with, so the CPU AI isn't that big of a deal?

I've tried 3 versions of .exe (Oct, Dec & Latest)

For the latest one, the game speed is slower but CPU AI is better, and less glitches

For the December's one, I think it's between the Oct and latest: fast speed of game, CPU AI is OK

I may not that deep into the game especially when server is stll on. what's your opinions on them, for the December's and the latest .exe

I find that the December .exe has the most fast, reactive gameplay, and the CPU defense outside of silly double team logic, is pretty decent.

You can turn off the adaptive coaching engine and that helps with the double team issue.

October passing mechanics are not as good or reactive, but the gameplay is decent overall.

The original .exe could possibly be the best balance, the game was really solid at release (no patches). But you lose out of certain managment access of the teams (like choosing your first, second, and third scoring options), you cant turn key zoom off, and substitution issues exist (players sometimes wont come in when they are supposed to). It also has an issue where sometime you will load the game and a couple players will be missing arms (this happens rarely, but it happens)

I would honestly stick with October or December, and I'll see if I can release a slider set with the roster.

Also, I reccomend trying Steam Play Together with seven0seven, the game REALLY shines with human vs human gameplay.

Actually which version is not a big deal if no big glitches, the most important thing is still the shotstick aiming for me....without it, the gameplay would be flawless

I tried the steam stream thing before but the overall experience is a bit disappointing, basically due to the network

Thanks Dee! I plan to send you the files this coming week (or before your release date). Just a few more dornas to go and it's good to go.

Few notes for pre-release.

*Euroteams shares the same dornas in game. No way to make their own. So I made sure I gave them a universal classic dornas that fit all the euroteams that you converted to NBA historic teams.
*The new teams you will be including on V3 will probably use their 2K default dornas since I'm not sure what stadium files you use for them. I do have some open dornas space for them since I didn't use the Hawks, T-Wolves dornas yet (seems like you left their slots open for future v3 update plans when you made v2).

CONSIDERING adding the 01-02 Celtics or 91-92 Celtics.....

I love both Celtics team! would love to see them both in V3. But if one of them would make it I'd vote for the 91-92 Celtics team if considered.
