This is really neat! Does it take out the regular teams in the game?

Also, I noticed you said you converted the Nets floor from UBR (I assume 2K14). How difficult is that process to convert to 2K17 from 2K14?

Thanks. The default regular NBA teams will not be usable, the roster is comprised of literally only classic NBA teams. The default current teams are outdated anyway. If you still wanted to use them, you could always just keep a backup of your regular modded folder.

In regards to courts, converting from 2K14 to 2K17 is incredibly easy if it's already a one texture court. Takes a bit of time if you want to piece one together.

I haven't converted 2K17 to 2K14.

The graphics always amaze me, that looks like real life prime Kobe! Amazing. In regards to my previous question, I'm sorry if I confused you I did mean 2K14 -> 2K17. It is such an amazing mod, I can't really say it is a shame that it doesn't have the 2K17 default, however, for my purposes playing generally a season year onward with just one historical team, I guess it is.

One last question out of curiosity, have you found any ease of translating the cyber faces over from 2K14? Or has 2K17's graphics improved to the point where it would look terrible if tried? I ask because somewhere I read that a lot of the graphical improvements were actually lighting and not as much the cyber faces themselves. Thanks for answering my questions, man!

All you have to do to use the current roster and take out my nodded folder... which takes like 30 seconds.

I'm sorry I misunderstood you before. I thought it was like used to be done for like 2K11-2K14 where you basically had to have 2 separate game folders for the huge mods like this. Since I had the game on Steam, and I am not 100% confident on their guidelines and rules to that sort of thing, I didn't want to do that. So I reread the first post after seeing my misunderstanding and I see now you definitely have it all in its own self-contained folder. That's awesome!

Now my question is, should I wait until after the Nets roster is complete before downloading, or will that be a small file just added to the original download?

I didn't realize 2k makes basketball games. The last two releases of the franchise have felt like a hockey game with all the skating on the court.

Bad news and good news.

Bad news first: I thought I was going to be able to release this roster with jukebox music and arena music.... that won't be the case. Importing into the archive and sharing the archive doesn't work the way I thought it would. Sorry guys.

Good news: This gives me more time to spruce up the presentation and do some other things with the roster.

anyways, there's a mix of old pics and recent pics. It seems like somebody took the old pictures and ran them through an upscale AI... similar to the Topaz Gigaplex .... or got a hold of the original photo/negative and did them by hand... but the imgur album are all 1080p

for instance here is the original rick barry/ wilt picture (627 x 600):

anyways, on the original wilt picture (627 x 600) if you zoom in on the grate behind barry, there is no detail. but the imgur 1080p picture has lots of detail on the same grate. so either these original photo/negative upscaled or upscaled by AI similar to Gigaplex.

Sorry, I won't have the time to put your Raptors team in V2. I'm going to have to keep it at 40 new teams.

Final touch ups were slightly interrupted by knee surgery (I just had the same one as Blake Griffin), so I haven't been able to add two more teams like I wanted too.

The release will be Wednesday for V2, if a V3 gets released I'll put your Raptors team in!

Worked on a younger, more athletic looking Ray Allen for you guys.

I made him a custom body, and he no longer looks like Uncle Fester from the Addams Family. I thinned out his jaw and neck as well.

Hope your knee heals up! That is definitely rough, he's having to go through surgery right now from what I saw.
