BTW, if you changed all teams to classic teams, there's no tv presentations. So i guess you will replace the default (awful) static screens ?

Static screens meaning all the ones when the game is loading? The ones that are normally screenshots of Cavs vs Warriors? Absolutely.

There are 4 of them, all 4 will be overwritten.

I entertained using in game screenshots of this mod, but I think real photos of classic players looks better.

There'd be a certain charm to using in-game screenshots, but I think I too prefer the use of real photos for that extra touch.

It's because the game updated it mid cycle, so in order to get a court in there that works, you would need to assign them a different court in cheat engine.

Which you and I have already disused on Twitter, and I haven't been able to get to yet.

bucks court is editable, but with restrictions : size of the f001.iff < 5Mb

I'm very excited to make my return to PC for this reason, but more importantly, to help contribute to the Retro community. Console feels like a lost cause.

I honestly can't go back to console for any basketball games. I really hope Live 2020 comes out for the PC.

My favorite presentation for 2K might be 2K14 on this gen. I changed the menus to the same color/pattern from 2K14, what do you think? I literally took the pattern and color from the 2K14 actual background

FYI - Im still finishing the last two teams, I just needed a break to do something else for a couple days.

I have a really stupid question though:
I just bought nba 2k17 on steam, downloaded it, downloaded the mod and installed it. But I can't get it to work at all!
I've checked if the files are all in the right place, and they are (compared with the rar).

But the teams are just the standard ones.....when go to options > edit roster, I see no roster.....

I've tried to look all 54 pages of this thread for an answers, but no solution. Anyone got an idea what I'm doing wrong?

Sorry for the confusion, this is not released yet. I will be releasing on the 24th (About 2 weeks from now)

I guess he was talking about v1
there's no offline roster file. So even if he downloaded the files, your v1 roster doesnt show up.

Thanks for clearing that up! I didn't realize the v1 are (Duh!) from when the servers were still active.
So the old roster file isn't to be downloaded somewhere at all ?
