Is it too late to start?

It's midseason and I still don't have the game. As you know I'm modding a way older game and as I'm getting better I'm gonna need a vastly better PC. I got $500 plus some extra to get the game and some older ones. I have heard folks rave and rant calling the game BS online and crap, but I think the game was very well built and superior to those older NG games. I hope there is sale soon and I can do awesome projects through that slow offseason. But is it too late to start this game?

If you have the money, it's never too late. Depends on what game modes you want to try also. Because I play exhibition matchups of whatever games are scheduled for a specific day, I could jump in and play 2k17 during the finals, and still feel satisfied.
