Free Agents for cheap like NBA Live 2004

So I posted this in the bugs & glitches section but I found this pretty funny because it reminded me of NBA Live 2004 which was one of my favorite games as a kid.
Anyone know if this happens in My GM also?

Bug description: All free agents will sign for the minimum if you wait until the very end of the off season

Platform (PC/PS4/Xbox One): PC (maybe all platforms)

Game Mode: MyLeague (the only mode I've tried)

Specific steps to reproduce the bug; additional details: if you get to the end of the off season w/o the minimum # of players on your roster, you can sign all free agents for the minimum.

I remember that bug too (shameless plug). It's good that players who hold out will accept less money, but obviously they shouldn't all be minimum contracts, and they shouldn't all be available to the user, either. Looks like a fix is required.

I actually thought about that piece you wrote when it happened.

Even if they ask for a little more money, they will accept the minimum.

What?! I cant believe we have this bug again. Its so unrealistic. I suppose no star players will not be in the free agents pool.

Maybe its not a bug. Idk. I was only able to get low 70s rated players. Its an easy way to rebuild. Sign these guys for 1 year minimum and tank while getting under the salary cap.
