NBA 2K17 / NVIDIA SLI (w/ Inspector & 2K16 settings)

Currently, NBA 2K17 does not support SLI. This will likely be fixed in the next Nvidia driver, however, you can enable SLI in the meantime with Nvidia Inspector.

NOTE: Looks like this causes some of the cut scenes in MyCareer to look funny (some flashing). In game seems to be fine.

NOTE: Do this at your own risk.

Directions:

1) Download Nvidia Inspector and install it. http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/nvi ... nload.html

2) Run Nvidia Inspector

3) Next to the "Driver Version" field, find the little icon with the wrench and screwdriver (far right, center). Click it. A new window will appear.

4) Find the "create a profile" icon (very top, center), which looks like a small yellow sun. Click it.

5) Name the profile "NBA 2K17". Click "OK".

6) You should now see "NBA 2K17" in the "profiles" field (very top, left). If not, find it in the drop down menu.

7) Now, look into the center menu, find the "Compatibility" section, then find "SLI compatibility bits (DX1x)". In the "Setting Value" field, type 0x080000F5. Then click somewhere else. You should see the same code show up in the "SettingValueHex" field. (Note, you can also find 0x08000F5 from the drop down menu)

8) Scroll down to the "SLI" section. Find "NVIDIA predefined number of GPUs to use on SLI rendering mode". In the drop down menu in the "Setting Value" field, click "SLI_Predefined_GPU_Count_DX10_Four".

9) Find "NVIDIA predefined SLI mode on DirectX 10". In the drop down menu in the "Setting Value" field, click "SLI_Predefined_Mode_DX10_Force_AFR".

10) IMPORTANT: On the top/center of the window, find the "Add Application to current profile" icon. Click it. Navigate to NBA2K17.exe. Highlight it and click ok.

11) IMPORTANT: click "apply changes". Close Nvidia Inspector, and now you can shred NBA 2K17.

Yes! I assumed the sli wasn't working because 2k16 was 60fps smooth all around @4k max settings. But I couldn't get 2k17 past 55 fps. Where can I find the inspector settings?? And the dsr settings as well. Please help thank you!

Okay, I edited the OP for you. For DSR, you just turn it on in NVIDIA control panel.

1) on desktop, right click (open context window), and select NVIDIA control panel
2) Click "Manage 3D Settings" on upper left of menu.
3) In "Global Setting" tab, find DSR-Factors. Put a check next to all of the boxes.
4) Click apply.

Now you can go in game and set higher resolutions.

Did this alow anyone to actually get 60fps on 4k maxed out as with 980ti with all maxed out I only get a max of about 40?

this is only a fix for SLI. Assuming u meant u had 2 980 TI's.. in which case you should probably be able to get 60fps with 2 of them at 4k. If u have one then ya probably wont get 60 fps

btw i just deleted the NBA 2k17 profile altogether then added nba2k17.exe to the nba 2k16 profile and the game runs absolutely fantastic.
