DEE4THREE Action Shot/Portrait Add-Edit Tutorial

Hi all,

Here is another video tutorial for you. Tools needed for this tutorial.

1. PeacemanNot thread for transalation/Limnonos Modifier (I am using the January 27th version in the video, have never had issues with it)

4. Paint.net (just what I use), its free. Other photo editing software may work (Like GIMP or Photoshop)

Edit to the tutorial: You want to save your file (whether it being via Paint.net, Photoshop or GIMP) as a PNG. When you go to place your portrait over the other portrait in the IFF editor in 2k explorer, you want to select "DXT5" and "Swizzle", this will make the photo the highest quality, and the right size for both the large portraits, and the small portraits (When you are viewing on the other screen).

One thing I need people to keep in mind!

Dee... Have you found a way to add portraits to players who only have player models... Example - TJ McConnell, Christian Wood etc... Not sure if anyone located where those files may be in order to add portraits

You can, but if they are free agents they will lose them once you put them on a team and enter a season. However, if you use the "keep portraits" option with the Limnono Modifier each time you turn on the game, they will keep there portraits for that session.

Also, I believe the free agents are located in OC and OD. If the player you are talking about was on a team at the start of the season, they will be under that teams tab in NBA 2k explorer. Than the player WILL keep his portrait without the modifier, as long as you don't trade him.
