how i open nba2k explorer?

when i click on the .exe file it does not open at all
do i have to extract it to my main game folder or something?

It should open just fine. Are you getting any errors?

not exactly an error i guess but this shows up



after a second disappears and then nothing

using win7 64bit

i just figured out that i have already installed the x86 version from this

Is it looking at all likely we will ever be able to edit team colors? It's the only thing driving me nuts with the rosters. I have asked a few times for a change from Beds, but thus far am having no luck in him doing it.

Yes, team colors might be a thing with the roster editor. It just depends on if the values are the same for NBA teams as they are for the team re-branding colors.

i used nba 2k15 explorer last year and it worked just fine
2k16 explorer causes me problems this time

no actually not i don't want creating mods but i can't speak for the others
i just want to add new mods and replace original files so that the game
become better and more realistic

mods such new stadiums/floor courts, player faces, nba ball, Jerseys, Shoes etc..

Here's to hoping! If I get a roster editor that lets me edit coaches and team colors, I will never have to touch NBA 2k14 PC again!

Hope somebody can help me with this one...

For 2k14, I edited the eventmusic.bin file.... it was awesome. The music that plays in the game was accurate to real life because of it (I used audacity to edit the music). On the current explorer tool, the eventmusic.bin file cannot be edited, and the songs are not separated like they are for the regular jukebox music. Are we anticipating having these separated for editing with the next tool? Or maybe an editor for eventmusic in general?

I just checked. It all seems editable to me. Are you sure you checked newaudio/eventmusic in 1M? All the files are right there.
