No rubbin', no side-by-side racing, no Gymkhana, no radical dudez chatting through your headset, just Rally.....as early access.
It showed up without a pre-release announcement this morning. Grabbing it for cheaper once it shows up on GMG, but here it is on Steam

So it's just rally, which at least it's good rally. Long narrow courses with a co-driver and an available cockpit cam.
Looks a bit buggy from streams I've seen, audio cutting out during replays and such. Looks like it plays like a DiRT game, sim but not sim.
Right now it's all asynchronous multiplayer with daily and weekly challenges. Weekly's let you use your own upgradable cars, daily's are locked to a certain car that you don't need to buy (in game currency, hopefully not microtransactions).
Glorious damage, weather, snowy tracks, damage carries over to the next stage with limited repair time, team management, leagues you can join, etc etc.
Only 17 cars right now, 36 stages....
Their timeline of future updates.... https://www.dirtgame.com/uk/timeline#timeline_15
Pikes Peak next month
Tarmac tracks and classic cars in June
RallyCross in July (this is the side-by-side racing one)
PvP Multiplayer in August + more RallyCross content
Finland stuff in September
Modern cars in October
Snow tracks in November
If all that is free, this is a no-brainer and great use of Early Access. If that shits DLC?
Watching streams, NIGHT RALLY

What do I get for my money?
At release DiRT Rally will include a total of 36 rally stages spread across Monte Carlo, Greece and Wales. We have a total of 17 cars, from 1960s classics right through to modern day machines. As time goes on we’ll be adding more cars, more environments, we’ll be climbing Pikes Peak and going door-to-door around a selection of the best circuits from the 2015 FIA World Rallycross Championship. We’ll also be adding features based on your feedback so be sure to let us know what you’d like to see included in future updates.
OK so how much does that extra stuff cost me?
Not a penny, regardless of when you join us for Early Access you’ll have access to all of our updates and all of the content we add during our Early Access period at no extra charge.
Boom, no brainer,
