Saints Row IV is coming to Xbox One and PS4 as Saints Row IV: Re-elected, Volition has revealed. Developer High Voltage is helping with the port, which will contain all the game's released DLC. This updated version of the game will release January 27 - the same day as the newly-announced Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell - and will cost $29.99.

All these games have made me remember how great Saints Row 2 was. Really wish it turned out the boss was just dreaming all of this happened and they went back to an SR2 style of game

i am pretty sure they are going out of their way so they wont get called a gta clone.

i see nothing wrong with it personally but some people consider it an insult i guess. pretty much any open world game with guns will be called GTA clone anyway

I'm confused. I never played any of the games, but I thought this is an open world-shooter, like GTA. When did the mystical stuff came in?

I only played SR:IV and it has aliens and shizz. I haven't even finished it yet

It is, but a better version. The real key is some of the greatest writing in the history of mankind. IV became a GTA + Prototype hybrid. This is a standalone holdover to let people play as Johnny Gat while they get ready to blow our minds with V.

To be honest this is the only good thing new saints row has brought us.

And nobody can say that who hasn't experienced the first mission, I cry errytime. (Or the escape from Zinyak's ship or finding out who the narrator is or...)

Saints Row 2 and 3 were amazing but 4 lost me a bit as it was too easy and felt like glorified DLC for SR3 (which it was originally going to be?) Still fun though. Here's hoping the next game is their take on a period piece sandbox like GTA has done.

Just thought I would post this. You can get the Ultimate Franchise Pack for $13.74! Upgrade pack is on sale for $2.50 for all the DLC. I don't know if it's been that cheap before.
