Comedy Legend Robin Williams Found Dead at 63

Comedian Robin Williams died Monday morning in his residence in Tiburon, California, according to his wife and publicist.

Williams, 63, was found in the home he shared with his wife shortly before noon (3 p.m. ET), the Marin County Sheriff's Office said. The sheriff's Coroner Division suspects the death to be a suicide due to asphyxia, but a comprehensive investigation must be completed before a final determination is made, according to a press release.

That was some shocking and saddening news to wake up to this morning. His style wasn't to everyone's taste, but personally, he's long been one of my favourite comedians. A tremendous shame that the proverbial inner demons just wouldn't leave him alone. RIP.

Suicide is never an answer. Just shows the kind of grip depression and addiction can have on a person. The world has become marginally less funny.

I blame Lance Armstrong.
