I am having a triple bypass heart surgery!!!

Thu Jul 04, 2013 12:51 pm

I was in the hospital the past three days.It turns out I had a heart attack. It felt like if I had massive heartburn while Andre the Giant was squeezing the shit out of my left arm.The doctors told me that they are about 99 percent sure that I need heart surgery by the end of the month. While I was in the hospital the inserted a stent in one of my arteries because it was partially clogged.Another artery is also partially clogged and torn and the third artery is 100% closed. If I got a hundred dollars for every time I heard "You are only 32.You are too young." then I still would not have enough to cover the 42 thousand dollar bill.

Anyways,I just want to say thank you to all of you for giving me entertainment he past several years. Before I was a member up until now.I have enjoyed most of all the threads in these forums as well as most of you.I did not realize how much I missed this place until the last hours of my first day in the hospital.I had no access to a computer. So once again I want to thank you all.And if I happen to not get the heart surgery and die or if I happen to get another heart attack before I get a heart surgery and die, then at least you will know how I feel about this website.

Kobe Christ that's terrible.
Are you sure the cause of your heart breaking down wasn't the Spurs losing in 7 to the Heat or that Manu turnover?
I was going to recommend that you watch Kobe Doin Work to make you feel better about life but I'm afraid you might kill me.

Jeez, really sorry to hear it man. I can't imagine how frightening that'd be to go through, you definitely never think of something like that happening at such a young age.

All the best, wishing you a full recovery. Take care.

Damn that sucks man. Are you really overweight? How can your blood vessels be in such bad condition at this age. Good luck to you. Hope things will get better for you soon.

Get better man. I can't think of any word to say but just get better.

Are we still in the 1990's that only fat people can get heart attacks?

Stay strong buddy. When you come back, we can root for the Spurs together. See you soon.

I think the tear in one of my arteries was caused by that.

I honestly can say that I was frightened, scared the whole emotional list for knowing that I could die at that moment. But I had this calm feeling of accepting it though.Sort of an "Alright.Get it over with already." feeling.

I use to be overweight. It is all my fault.I've been a type 1 diabetic for almost 15 years.I have an unhealthy diet.I was a heavy cocaine addict.I was a heavy drinker.I have been stressed to the fullest for about the past five years. And I am a heavy smoker.Once again,it is all my fault.I knew the risk.I instead chose to live the life that I did.

We really haven't had that much of a conversation except I remember your post after the Allen 3 pointer in game 6. Anyway, I like to think we are all close here no matter which team we root for.

Get well soon man and hope the surgery will be smooth and you will back to enjoy the good ol' Timmy D

Everybody today can have a heart attack, not only overweight/obese people. Heck, I've read multiple times that a very fit person also had a heart attack. shadowgrin's problem is your ignorance.

I know a lot of reasons for heart attacks and one of the main (considering he has clogged arteries and what not) is that he probably had a horrible diet, which means he was over-eating and was overweight. Add in the fact that he said he was stressed out. Now, at age 32 having your arteries in that condition is still pretty unbelievable so I was wondering how horrible of a diet must he have had (which would tie into being overweight). Also the fact that he was a smoker which compounds the problems.

When you hear about a fit person having a heart attack it is probably due to a undiscovered heart problem in their family, not because arteries were seriously clogged.

Thanks for all your attempts at being educational but next time just save yourself the energy and fuck off.

Dc311, sorry for taking attention away from you in this thread.

You all could argue all you want. This thread is not about my heart but about how much I enjoy this forum. This community. No matter who is a "hater".No matter who is better at basketball. No matter if Shadow likes to rub baby lotion all over his body while watching Jao's Youtube tutorials. These arguments/debates are what make my days go by.

Damn. Anus-taster just got schooled... he will probably come back with a reply after sobbing for 2 hours in the corner of his basement.

For the love of Kobe, I told you that because maybe it can make you feel better when you do it to yourself. Jao's videos and the lotion are just personal suggestions, you can watch other videos like Pop's interviews or use butter or cream cheese or peanut butter with jelly if you want.

Assumptions can be made without being stupid. All it takes is some effort not to be one.

So I assumed a 32 year old with clogged arteries might have had weight issues. Is that highly unreasonable on my part? I was asking him in my original post if he was actually overweight. Just because there are some exceptions doesnt mean the logic I presented was flawed.

You're the guy who wants to be condescending to people because you like to feel intellectually superior. Its pretty pathetic. I made a connection between being potentially overweight and having clogged arteries at age 32 and you're going to act like it was stupid? Dude, just fuck off. You're a fucking pest.

BTW, what is your fucking point? The link you posted says the following
It seems that the ideal state (for healthy heart) is to:

Be lean (but not thin)
Have low blood pressure (but not faint)
Maintain low cholesterol (without starving)
Be physically active throughout life
Not smoke

So your link was supposed to accomplish what??

All your link is saying is that there are some exceptions. Which everybody already fucking knew. So the only thing you accomplished here was to prove you enjoy being a pest.

Re: I was in the hospital.

Mon Jul 08, 2013 9:02 am

I don't want to be 'intellectually superior' and I'm not offended if I'm called stupid either. Not my fault if you're insecure about your intellect and feel that you're stupid and hate to be called one.

Re: I was in the hospital.

the cocaine, cigarettes, and alcohol probably didnt help either

I'd like to think it was mostly the cocaine so I can imagine Dc311 as the forums' own Charlie Sheen. #winning
