So its only going to release on Xbox Indie, but you can mod it on PC. Looks fun for a couple bucks.

console modding

Very nice. It's obviously something that's going to be far more common and likely with indie games, but it'd be awesome if we could get some more tools like that for the console versions of the basketball games.

and PC modding to boot?

That too, definitely.

Try before you buy boys. Its a fine $3 indie game, but it is a $3 indie game. Certainly not a glitchy as Uprising, but played a match and half and saw plenty of ish. The game logged me out and crashed on first boot, had some animation positioning glitches, including me warping into the crowd via taunt, and running outside of the ring has the same soundFX of running inside the ring. All the while loading times are pretty terrible, take just a bit too long to become annoying. Also, while in a grapple strike, not run, irish whips the guy....eh.
That said, its a fun little game. I see it in the same light as a mobile game. Definitely retro, definitely fun to play, and definitely worth the $3 once we get WWE/TNA packs to use. I should note that there is only exhibition mode, with a belt to fight for, but no structure to the game whatsoever.
So, for me, worth it. For you all, demo it first, then unlock.

That's a shame, but I'll at least check out the demo. $3 isn't much to spend on something to muck around with.
EDIT: Scratch that, Xbox Indie games aren't available in Australia, thanks to the ACB. So yeah, thanks again, ACB.

Probable PC port coming
Developer Dave Horn revealed today that an upgraded version of Action Arcade Wrestling 2 is coming to a "yet-to-be-announced platform that's actually capable of properly running [the game]." The enhanced port promises "more moves, more matches, no skipped animation triggers (the reason for most of the bugs), direct texture import (no customizer needed) and more!"
Additionally, sales from the upcoming Action Arcade Wrestling 2 reissue will be used to fund a sequel, which if possible, will be rebuilt for the next generation consoles. No timetable has been set for the future port or the potential sequel.
So $3 *flush* but fuck it I'll double dip and support this.

I guess I may still check it out if it comes to PC.

And they say wrestling is fake!
Might be something I pick up on sale.
