I'm addicted to Facebook

I literally can't get off the site. If I'm home im logged in, and if I'm out I got the app on my iPhone. Are any of you guys addicted to anything that really has no importance to life? It annoys me that I can't get off the site, I'm just wondering how many of you have these foolish addictions. By the way, add the old doobster cause I noticed most of you have Facebook. I hadn't logged in to it for over a year until this week when I saw the story about them using your photos in the ads. I logged in to change that setting.

What is there to actually do on the site that you check it that much?

Uhm I speak to friends mainly. See what people are up to through status updates, occasionally play poker. Fantasy baseball is fun too. It's mostly to see what everyone is up to since I don't speak to anyone really since I graduated.

Facebook's only good for keeping in touch with old friends. Other than that, it's just attention-seeking nonsense.

Made an account years ago just to see what the fuss is all about then never touched it until a few months back.
I used to log in to it everyday during the past months because of the games. Now I'm just bored with it. Seems like you need to add more "friends" in order to advance and improve in the games. If I wanted to interact with retards, there's the NLSC for that.

Facebook is pretty much my favourite thing on the internet. I don't know why, and i feel pretty lame for it, but it is.

I like the "events" feature.

My theory is that it's either for people who want to have the equivalent of AIM/MSN conversations but allow everyone they know to view them (wall posts - lots of people I know love voyeurism apparently), or for people who don't understand that everyone can see the messages.

I guess if you use the messenger that would be sensible; I've never tried it so it could suck for all I know, plus I don't want to advertise to everyone I know that I'm browsing Facebook.

There's an 'NLSC' Facebook group. Apparently, Coolmac's a member and some banned ones I think. I was afraid to join, I didn't know what lies in the other side of that group.
