wanting to improve your vert???

Postby madskillionaire on Thu May 22, 2003 7:12 am

well a friend sent this to me. he said he got very good results with it. he wasnt specific, but the way he made it sound must have meant he got a lot more inches.

here it is:

Are you ready to dunk like MJ??? After this program you will be flying high and amazing your friends. You must do the program for 3 weeks to get the most vertical inches.

1. Before all the workouts stretch the muscles you are working out.

2. Drink plenty of water so that you are well hydrated.

3. find a chair at home. Sit down on it and put a ball under one of your feet. stand up and sit down 20 times. repeat with the ball under the other foot. You will have to do this, as well as the other workouts 3 times a day. Dont worry that is not alot. One in the morning, one in the afternoon and one at night.

4. do 50 calf raises (stand on your tippy toes and lift up) 3 times a day.

5. Jump up and down 150 times on your tippy toes 3 times a day.

6. Do 2000 jumpropes a WEEK. not all in one day.

7. You must do this program every day for results.

GOOD LUCK!!!!! You should be flyin high after 3 weeks.
Holla back with the results.

Man, I'm sure it works, but dude... I have a life! Can't fit all that in between.

Oh and "2. Drink plenty of water so that you are well hydrated."
How can you do all thoser jumps when you have to piss all the time??

Improvise Rens! Here's some suggestions :D
3. find a chair at home. Sit down on it and put a ball under one of your feet. stand up and sit down 20 times. repeat with the ball under the other foot. You will have to do this, as well as the other workouts 3 times a day. Dont worry that is not alot. One in the morning, one in the afternoon and one at night.

Simple, just do this at college or school or work (if you can sit down). Otherwise, do it on your skateboard whilst rolling down the hill to achive maximum results (y)
4. do 50 calf raises (stand on your tippy toes and lift up) 3 times a day.

I say do this in the toilet line becuase after everyone does this they will all need to goto the can quite frequently!
5. Jump up and down 150 times on your tippy toes 3 times a day.

This was a tricky one to fit in. Just do it when asking a girl out for a date. Gauranteed results (for hops of course ;))

hehheh

mademcee I'm only messin, it sounds like a good routine and I might try it (y)

there's this park with a 9 foot, 8 inch goal that i can dunk on with one and two hands and sometimes reverse dunk. i can't dunk at all on a regulation 10 foot goal. i'm 6'1" and i'm going to try this program (groan!) and on july 20 or so I'll report my progress.

Ive done Air Alert 2 before and it helped alot, I did AA3 for like 6 weeks but I gained noting..maybe because I gained alot of it with AA2 so the procces slows down. I can dunk on a 10 ft basket now at 6´1 ft....and do some nice stuff on a 2.95 m basket (9´10 ft i think  ). I have vidz so if someone wanna C, just pm me or something :P .

I know this is off-topic btw lol, just wanted to share this

i had those strength shoes years ago and the workouts always seemed to involve being out in public wearing rediculous-looking shoes and zig-zagging through cones or hopping on boxes or some other goofy crap. i don't know if they work or not cuz i never had the balls to subject myself to that kind of humiliation.

um....... AA2 and AA3 aren't strength shoes
they are programs which tell what exercise to do and how much of it

You don't have to pay for that...just get in the gym and do calf raises and squats with lots of weight.

by the way....i did this routine, it was painful and three weeks seemed like forever being in that pain, and my vertical leap didn't change a bit.

Kobemvp where you come from? I think I'll try that workout to see if it works. I can dunk on 9 feet at 5'10", but I can't on 10 ft. I can hang on the rim if I sprint from the other end of the court and grab it, but I can't dunk just yet so hopefully after this workout, I can.

I remember that too, but I can't dunk consistently on 10 feet and I know I did it a few times on an outside goal, but I can't inside. And I still can't believe you can dunk on 10 ft

I'll second that. Besides some of these programs fuck up your knees real bad if you don't know what you're doing.
