I'm fine with it as well. As I said, I'm all for him beating Lesnar's record, too.

Pretty cool move, but they don't really give her a chance to say much. I'd like her to get a bit more airtime rather than the occasional interjection here and there.

As she's on there more and more, I think we'll see her role grow as she carves her own niche. I'm excited to have her announcing. I think she's great.

Good point. Hopefully that's the case and she gets a proper chance, and it's not just one of those situations where Vince has an idea and then scraps it two weeks later.

Part of me hates that positioning....but at the same time he and Joe get more energy from the crowd and can be the cause of crowd burnout for the main events with Roman.

Saw something on Reddit that WWE has 120 wrestlers on the main card and 120 more in NXT/UK/PC. And each PPV can have at most 36 featured....I know things were a bit watered down but I'm already missing the brand-exclusive PPVs.

I heard they muted the cheers when Becky won? If so, maybe they aren't committed to a double-turn or "shades of grey" angle after all.

Positioning doesn't matter to me as long as they are good matches. I did expect louder cheers when she won but yeah, expect some you deserve its on Tuesday. Honestly I'm a bit shocked she beat Charlotte on a ppv for it but I'm happy she won. They still seem very hell bent on keeping numbers even between heels and faces and they're particularly weak in heels

I'm surprised she won, but definitely glad she did. Can't help but think she'll end up losing it back to Charlotte at Survivor Series, but at least they booked this one right.

Going off Becky's reaction and not her actions, the only heel champions right now are Ziggler & Drew, and Nakamura.

And looks like Becky won clean, too.

I'll skip the last two matches and go back to sleep and just re-watch them later. I read that the Orton-Hardy match was also good.

And Nakamura was a long time face as well.

Sad part is, I don't think they actually wanted to give her the belt. They do not give the fans what they want. I think they did it to promote the Marine movie. I could see a Miz TV segment when it releases

Well, that ending sucked. No contest in a no DQ match. Makes a lot of sense, WWE. Makes a lot of sense.

So what then? That was Braun's cash-in match, right?

That's right, it was his cash-in.

There was some wild stuff with Rollins, Ambrose, Ziggler, and McIntyre getting involved. That was pretty cool. Of course, it meant that both Reigns and Strowman were out on the mat for about ten minutes while the action focused on the rest of them outside the cell. Then Lesnar comes down to kick the door down and beat up on them while Heyman sprays Foley in the eyes with mace. Show goes off the air with a no contest finish.

Indeed. I suppose technically it's no contest rather than a DQ or double DQ, but still. It's "last days of WCW" booking; I was glad to see someone else comment along those lines on Twitter, it's what immediately sprang to mind for me when it happened.

So yeah I get to watch the matches I missed from the live stream of Hell in a Cell, and I thought it was a good PPV. Heck, even the tag match on the Kickoff show was good (I think TV match type of good). I think it just went downhill from the Rousey match until the main event (which I didn't finish). I think the problem I had with the Rousey match is that it was practically over after Ronda's comeback plus the fact that Bliss is obviously not a physical threat to her. But plus points on Rousey's selling of the rib injury, and that wicked gutwrench powerbomb that actually looked like how Jack Swagger delivers his.

Yet to watch Raw and Smackdown, but I'll probably skip Raw completely. Looking forward to watch NXT because it's Ricochet vs Pete Dunne which would probably end up with a sketchy, controversial finish but I think it'll still be good.

Rousey's selling is really good, to the point where some of her opponents (*cough* Stephanie *cough*) look too much of a threat because of it.

Oh.

Liv might be too short to take the Yes Kick spot, or Brie kicked too high. You can see the look in Ruby and Sarah's faces when Brie moved Liv back to the Riott Squad's corner. Liv was very much out of it.

Ouch. Yeah, she was out of it and dead weight, even as Brie was trying to roll her over; basically just kicking out on instinct. That was a nasty botch, concussion protocol incoming.
