Just my general thoughts on NLSC

Reading Jae's shoutout thread I got to thinking as to how I percived this place pre-posting. I.E a bunch of wiggers hanging around doing patches for me to enjoy.

Where really crappy rap was something to listen to, and where 50 Cent was held in high regard and not hated (you really should hate him. I mean seriously? Candy Shop where he lets you suck on his lollipop or whatever).

I'm surprised as to how high the level of overall intelligence that is displayed here, with a few glaring exeptions, and the niceness of most posters. Good mods, and a good admin that keeps the place intact, and keeps it growing all the time. Which is somewhat of a rarity actually. I just like to say that I'm really impressed.

And the fact that there are a few other swedes is also kinda neat since b-ball/NBA/general basketballness isn't a popular sport over here; and most of my friends could probably pick out Jordan in a lineup but not much more.

So yeah, nice place with mostly nice people. And even though some of you doesn't realize that rap kinda sucks ball; you're alright. But Jea, seriously, Limp Bizkit? What the hell?

I like to think I brighten the place up quite a bit. You know, someone has to keep the conversations intelligent and that man is me. I don't want any applause or thank-yous, just let me do my job.

It's good to hear that people think this is such a nice place, which it most of the times is. In despite of the occasional trouble maker that makes it's way here, it's a great place.
Kinda fun though how people see places like this before giving them a try, I remember seeing the forum (in the black/blue days) a place where the geeks ruled. A place in which a bunch of teenage boys exchanged petty remarks and that I never would want to be a part of it, little did I know...

By the way, I had forgotten all about that you were Swedish. Yey for Sweden

I've been here for around 6 years and the place has changed so much over time... sometimes good, sometimes bad, but it's always been a pretty fun place to come to and post. It could've easily become overrun by immature wiggers but we managed to get rid of guys like MikeBibby before they actually took over.

I always read the forums, but then you encouraged me to sign up and reply to your dynasty. That's when the NLSC/Riot-ERA began.

Yeah, I have this special mechanism in my brain where I weed out the posters that can't type or say dumb things, so it makes my reading more enjoyable on the boards. I actually noticed you around a lot, Habbakuk, and I really enjoy reading your posts, since you give a lot of creative insights

NLSC has changed a lot since the days of Tim & Lutz. But I still miss some of the old crew. Too bad they don't come back more often.

The Fleet Center/(Being named the Boston Garden again) is a huge dump man. I've been there once, it's awful.
