Won a model kit contest yesterday, t'was my first time to join and I landed the 3rd place trophy out of 80+ entries.

Oh the feeling was exhilarating. I didn't expect to win.

My entry was a rushed one, I bought the model kit one week before the deadline and I had to build/prime/spray paint it during the weekend. Had to polish the details in four days and had it submitted two Saturdays ago to be part of the expo. The entries were on-display for a week, with the awarding of winners being held last Sunday. I just came back to claim the kit, didn't really expect to get a trophy.

I was hoping though, to at least win the raffle to get freebies.

I originally had #61 and #62 for two entries, but I retracted, and entered again. They gave me #69.

Well they charged us for damage in our rooms and our hall last year.

My god damn manager calls me and tells me I have an interview tomorrow for my promotion and to bring a change of clothes to look good and the interview is about 30 minutes after my shift. Way to give me time to prepare. I don't even have time to get a trim.

No places close to your work that you can get a quick trim during lunch time? That's what I tend to do.

I work the grave yard shift, so no. It's not messy, though. I would just rather look completely groomed, but I dint think it will make a difference.

Just reconfigured our cable, we are returning our 2 SD boxes for 4 HD boxes (which do 3D if we had that option, or if I buy that PS3 TV with my $50 GC to Best Buy for $150) and keeping our fast internet for $20 less a month....

...also, my RMA'd RAM I got for father's day finally made it to California, so hopefully that gets back to me soon.
