Professional Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH, etc)

(quoted in bold from the wrestler himself)
Cedric Alexander awesome job tonight I think you killed Candace lol
Sooooo........... I killed a woman last night
She Popped like popcorn.
BallsplexCity was going to be HUGE...until Cedric Alexander MURDERED Candice LeRae
I don't think it's legal to kill people
I think Cedric Alexander was listening to Chris Brown songs while watching Ray Rice highlights before this match
When yo girl gets caught going through your phone.
SHE HAS A FAMILY DAMMIT
I hope she's okay... She looks hot
So when's the funeral for Candice LeRae? Hope Cedric Alexander is helping with the arrangements
She might be dead
She's dead
Damn. She only has one spine, Cedric.
Her children are gonna be born with back problems.. That's how bad that hurt
Yeah I'm pretty sure she is dead so that won't be a problem.
U goin to hell Cedric Alexander
Naughty blonde wrestler Candice LeRae punished by big black muscle hunk
I just witnessed a murder
Cedric Alexander knows how to treat the ladies.
If feminism starts taking over the world, we need to hire Cedric Alexander

Different angle, doesn't look as brutal now.

Found out she was injured after the match, not from that Lumbar Check, but from jumping off the top rope and landing outside the ring. Minor dislocation of her left knee.

Wrestling for women is not worth it. Getting exploited sexually and once in a while get thrown around by men.

Yeah, probably not going to see that done in the WWE anytime soon. Brutal looking spot, certainly a game lady.

I'm still lobbying for them to just go back to Evening Gown Matches and the like. Smarted up VKM.

The biggest issue, though, is that RAW just needs to be two hours. There is NEVER enough to make it entertaining for three hours. It always feels brutally long. Two and a half would be much more tolerable, and two hours, as it once was, would be infinitely better. That, and the return of using the women as secual exploitations with a TV-NA rating for the second hour. Ah, memories.

It is too much of a marathon. It also reduces the importance of pay-per-views (or special events, as they're now called), since aside from Wrestlemania (which is usually four hours), they're the same length as an episode of RAW.

I watched an old episode of RAW recently while looking for Owen Hart matches. What was interesting was that the WWF champion did not appear during the broadcast but was referenced a few times throughout. IIRC it was when they only had 1 hour broadcasts. Basically it would be an NXT style broadcast where you'd have to wait a few weeks to see your favorite wrestler again. John Cena fans would freak out.

That would've been the very early days of RAW. Once the Monday Night Wars began, the champ was there pretty often, as were all the big names.

Interesting move seeing that the WWE never usually get talent from outside organizations to compete for their shows.

WWE's ability to bring in can't-miss talent and then miss with them is truly spectacular.

I am no undertaker hater, neither am I complaing about wwe's decision a lot. But this Undertaker thing was desperate. Undertaker is supposed to wrestle near Wrestlemania, period. Just for the tradition. Srsly, his body is letting him down. I don't know if anyone noticed, but he almost fell to the floor at the end, when he got on his knees with his trademark pulled-out tongue. He can't even pull that right, it was a difficult move for his body to keep balance - yes, kneeling looks as hard as a high-flying move for him.

He really needed Brock's help in holding him up for the tombstone. He even told him to slip into position on the first one because he probably couldn't hold him up any longer

As with his appearance at Wrestlemania 31, I actually thought he looked way healthier than he did last year.

Face vs Face Main Event that can't go anywhere over a match that happened teo WrestleManias ago?? Vince...

Two of the most over guys in the entire company currently, Cesaro and Ambrose, no where tk be seen, while I instead get to watch the Miz every week. Owens could be pushed as a major heel to replace Bro k's old role but be there every week, but instead they let Cena bury him just like they did Bray Wyatt when he was in the exact same spot. These guys could be so over, and Vince just kills them with their bookings.

Cesaro had 2 great matches on TV this week and nothing at the PPV. I get it, he doesn't really have a storyline (like Rusev) besides being tag-alongs on the Cena/Owens/US Title storyline, but damn they are really fucking up with this guy if they can't figure it out soon. It's nice that he's basically in the real main event picture going up against Cena, but I'm still waiting for him to get pushed. Man he was so over when he was a Real American doing the "We The People" thing. I actually enjoyed watching him and Tyson Kidd. Hopefully something positive (A Cesaro singles push) will come with Kidd's injury

For what it's worth, Cena has been advocating for Cesaro backstage. I don't think Cena himself actually "buries" anyone, a la Hogan or HHH at his worst. I blame the booking, myself.

Agree. Vince buries them against Cena. Having Owens tap to him was about the worst possible outcome you could've had, especially given that just two months ago you had an amazing match where Owens went over Cena cleanly, and had this monstrous momentum that is now essentially dead, having to start from square one.

I'd imagine Cena has enough stroke at this point to put someone over if he wanted to, though.

I've seen some fans wringing their hands over "political correctness run amok", but given the nature of the tirade...yeah, WWE are wise to distance themselves from him at this juncture.

Has anyone been checking out Lucha Underground? If not, this past week's episode is a great summation of the entire promotion and preps for their 2-part finale starting next week.
Opinions are my own.

I heard great things about LU but I'm too lazy to get into it. I should be watching the G1 Climax tho. 19 straight days of non-stop wrestling pretty good imo.

Being only an hour helps, I rarely catch it on time and will binge a few episodes if I get behind.

Something about the TV/movie-wrasslin mashup just makes it damn good.
