Not sure what happened with BZ's last post about the Power Ranger chants since it wasn't allowing the thread to open. I've seen it happen before with phpBB though very rarely. Anyway, that's the only reason it was deleted; there wasn't any violation.

Sure Andrew, everything is ok as you say so.
Andrew triple posted! Mods, ban him!

Oh. No ones posted in here in a while. Dam thats was severe. Putting Maria up against Umaga. It was awesome that Cena came out and smashed Umaga's ass. He deserved it. Now I'm waiting for Cena to kick K-fed's ass

I was considering ordering Survivor Series but ultimately decided against it. When I read the recap last night it sounded like a decent show though John C's feature on Rajah's suggested it was a fairly underwhelming affair.

I caought Jeff Hardy in action twice last week for the first time in years... I remembered why I liked watching him, and now Matt Hardy again serves a purpose in the WWE, a stepping stone for Jeff

Found this pic, just thought it was pretty funny... anyone who knows about John Cena's limitations in wrestling would understand.

Did anyone bother getting the ECW PPV? I opted for live online PBP by myself.
Tue Dec 05, 2006 4:14 pm
nope. downloaded for free as per usual. apart from the elimination chamber, they could pass that off as a RAW card. come on, guido, daivari, and striker?
Tue Dec 05, 2006 4:34 pm
If they bothered to book those 3 guys right, the PPV would have been better since they are very able wrestlers. Still haven't finished watching the PPV only finished the Hardys/MNM match. Kinda busy at the moment. Maybe this weekend.
Tue Dec 05, 2006 4:45 pm
The ECW PPV was atrocious at best. Only match that had significant buildup was the main event: The Elimination Chamber. Daivari's feud with Dreamer had barely any buildup, and the rest were thrown together at the last minute.

anyone else catch the TNA chants when terkay hit the muscle buster?

On another note, Heyman's out. Hopefully he'll be replacing Russo in TNA.
Tue Dec 05, 2006 9:38 pm
makes sense...let's get heyman to come up with some ideas, "improve" them, and then fire him because our ideas suck.
yeah, brilliant.

Considering the amount of ECW wrestlers who are disgruntled and McMahon's disappointment with the project, I wonder how much longer the ECW experiment is going to last.

Well, I watched Armageddon and it was pretty predictable. The only amazing match was the tag team championship.. The others were just ok.

WWE.com has learned that former WWE Superstar Scott "Bam Bam" Bigelow has passed away in Florida.
Kevin Doll, the Public Information Director for the Pasco County Sheriff's Office confirmed that Bigelow was found dead early Friday morning in his home in Hudson, Fla.
"We can confirm that Scott Bigelow was found in his home this morning. At this time the cause of death is unknown," Doll told WWE.com.
Doll also confirmed that the Pasco-Pinellas Counties medical examiner has taken the body and an autopsy will be performed.
Bigelow, 45, worked for WWE, ECW and WCW extensively throughout his 20-year sports-entertainment career. A former ECW Champion, ECW Television Champion and WCW Tag Team Champion, he is perhaps best known for his rivalry with Lawrence Taylor that culminated in the main event of WrestleMania XI in 1995.

He was truly a special wrestler. Standing at 6'3, weighing in at about 360lbs, he had the power expected of a wrestler his size, yet he possessed such an amazing agility and athleticism to perform many moves that are expected of highflying luchadores.
R.I.P Scott "Bam Bam" Bigelow

I read that on Rajah's the other day, very sad news indeed. I've also read that for now police are treating his home as a crime scene so it seems they haven't yet ruled out the possibility of foul play.
RIP Bam Bam.

Anyone else catch the Royal Rumble? I'm sure not everyone will agree but I thought it was one of the best in recent years with some solid matches (Cena/Umaga was better than I expected though Batista/Kennedy was pretty ordinary in my opinion) and the Rumble itself lived up to the hype.

Takers vs Batista at WM! will the streak be broken?
Tue Jan 30, 2007 1:47 pm
Holy crap! As much as I like Batista, I think (and hope) that the streak will never be broken.

It's a tough one to predict. The WWE is very protective of the streak, the Royal Rumble winner usually goes on to win the title (at least in recent times) and it looks like Taker might be poised to have one final run before he hangs it up for good. Also, rumours occasionally surface about a possible Taker/Edge WM showdown with two undefeated streaks on the line.
On the other hand, streaks in wrestling usually end up being broken to put over the new guy but considering Batista's age he might not be the one to do it. Mind you, considering what happened at the end of RAW Taker might be making the jump and challenging Cena. I could see Cena breaking the streak mainly because he wins pretty much every "against the odds" matchup and he's younger. He's probably going to be around and in the title picture longer than Batista.
Personally, I'm an Undertaker fan so I'd like to see him have one more run. Anyone who agrees to put Khali over after being pinned by one foot deserves at least a short run with some gold.
