That's some nice shit Colin. What brushes did you use?

Mon May 02, 2005 4:20 am

A lot. I don't even know what they're all called. I change the names of brushes after I download them so I know what's in them. So unless "Grunge - rocky-clouds" means anything to you...
I just scoured deviantart for them.

Has anybody here used Cinema 4D, I just got a 'trial' and I'm not sure where to start. Any good sites for it?

i just saw what size it is :?

Pretty good, don't like the spatter much.

Where do you get photos? I just grab them from sportsline with the size trick, but they still don't end up very big on 1600*1200 walls. :(

This one was super easy, I just liekd the idea.

:applaud: Some skilled graphics people in the NLSC. Nice. Very, very nice.

This wall is pretty plain. I think a change to the background would be a welcome addition, just not sure what.

Every time an NBA player is quoted about Manu, they always say he plays like he's out of control.

I've never tried to make a wallpaper before so this is my first attempt, I figured I'd come up with the corniest slogan I could think of (and I wanted to put a crown in there)... it's not very good but it's an attempt none the less.

It looks cool, the pic is a bit blurry compared to the writing & the crown looks a bit funky. But for a first, it's much better than any of me could do.

Mon May 02, 2005 11:53 pm

Yeah I had to resize the hell out of the pic to get it that big which explains the blurryness... I shall make some alterations and see what comes.

Mission accomplished. And by the way, here's a tip for getting large pics from cbssportsline.com...

Once you find a picture you like, right click it and go to properties. Copy the url and then change the "lower" at the end to "1024x768". Works on most pics.

Example: Before- http://images.sportsline.com/u/ap/photo ... _lower.jpg

After- http://images.sportsline.com/u/ap/photo ... 024x768jpg

Yeah I already do that, but the Hornets aren't in the play-offs so they have no pics there.
