Professional Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH, etc)

Could be worse I suppose, they could be The Powers That Be.

I don't think Sandow's going to be fired anytime soon and he did have a good TV match with Cena in his unsuccessful cash in, so I don't know that he's completely screwed from this point on. Having said that, I'm not sure what you do with him moving forward, either.

Kassius Ohno released.

http://pwinsider.com/article/81449/surp ... e.html?p=1

WWE released NXT star Kassius Ohno, aka Chris Hero, who has worked in main event level positions for Ring of Honor, Pro Wrestling NOAH, CHIKARA, IWA Mid-South and CZW, among other promotions all over the world, PWInsider.com has confirmed.

According to multiple sources, Ohno was released by WWE officials while waiting to begin training Friday morning at the Performance Center.

Ohno had just returned to WWE NXT after being held off of TV for some time. What will turn out to be his final appearance, a loss to The Wyatt Family's Luke Harper, aired this past Wednesday on NXT. He had been signed to WWE developmental in 2012.

As noted here:

One issue that we heard with Ohno was the trainers felt he needed to spend more time in the weight room. The comment didn’t sit well with him and we were told at the time he took great offense to it. Ohno was pulled from NXT television over the summer but returned in September.

Sounds like he didn't do himself any favours.

neat stuff from House of Hardcore
Your winners, Tommy Dreamer and Terry Funk!

The crowd chanted "Thank you Terry!"

Dreamer took the mic and said he has an announcement before everyone leaves. He said that they had a great show again thanks to the fans. He said a 69 year old man with a torn abdominal stole the show. Dreamer said that this will be the last time you see them tag and it's been a hell of a run from 1995 on, so thank you very much.

Funk said that Dreamer is a great man and gives him more credit than he deserves. He said that Dreamer was there to stay from day one. Funk said that not many people knew it but he knew that Dreamer had it, because he knew Dreamer loved the profession that Terry's father taught him.

Dreamer said that by the size of this house, they are of this house, they are onto something and that's the next show...and then BULLY RAY hit the ring from the crowd and laid out both Funk and Dreamer. He began whipping them with a chain.

Bully grabbed the ring mic and said, "Do you know who I am?" He kept whipping Dreamer and Funk. He told Dreamer that he was his best friend in the world but Dreamer doesn't invite him to HOH? "That's how you do me?" He attacked Dreamer. He invited Dreamer to come back here on December 30th - One Night Only - TNA presents Old School. He challenged Dreamer to face him in an Old School Street Fight with Falls Counting Anywhere in the business.

Ray said that he wouldn't miss this in the entire world. He said he was going to destroy Terry Funk and no one can do a damn thing about it. Spike Dudley hit the ring and went for the Acid Drop but Bully tossed him and attacked him.

Devon hit the ring. They teased fighting but instead hit Dreamer with 3D. Bully said that he's been waiting for this moment his entire career. He told Devon they were going to piledrive him through the table.

ENTER SANDMAN HITS.

Sandman hit the ring and caned the Dudleys but was overwhelmed. He was caned and left laying. Bubba said this is what happened when you mess with the best tag team in the world. He said tonight was House of Hardcore 3D. He and Devon walked out.

The heroes recovered. Dreamer said that HOH is going to kick the "living sh**" out of TNA.

Dreamer thanked Funk and said the ring is his because he earned it more than anyone in the business. They left Funk in the ring.

Funk said that he hopes everyone has a safe trip home because he loves them all so damn much. He said that he thinks of them all. This is the House of Hardcore, and "by God, it's a resurrection of hardcore....and its going to be here forever....FOREVER.....FOREVER.....FOREVER....AMEN!"

They closed with Funk leaving to Desperado. Thanks for logging in with us.

Also, fan theory on Wyatts and AJ Lee
http://www.reddit.com/r/SquaredCircle/c ... s_attacks/
When the Wyatt's first debuted, they attacked Kane. And the past few weeks they attacked Daniel Bryan and CM Punk. I asked myself, what do these men have in common? THEY ALL USED TO DATE A.J. Lee! and to add one more theory to this theory. I think the "A" in A.J stands for Abigail! that is correct ladies and gentlemen. A.J is sister Abigail, and her craziness is genetics!
...
What if AJ stands for Abigail Jr?
But Sister Abigail is dead.
Oh just to add things to my theory is that Bray Wyatt's entrance video is him lighting up a lamp, and as stated in that video he always listens to what sister Abigail says.
Coincidentally, AJ's entrance music goes "light it up..."
Opinions are my own.

Hello everyone! A long time wrestling fan here. Nice to see a basketball themed forum that has a wrestling thread.

Anyways, regarding on a fan theory regarding the Wyatts, I think that would a nice storyline to build up but as we all know the creatives doesn't think like that.

So, Corporate Kane may not be a fantastic idea, but I must admit that this absurdity did raise a smile:

I see nothing wrong or strange with Kane wearing a suit. A creature from hell wearing a suit is not a new or strange concept, just look at lawyers.

TNA's championship series has yet to have a bad match. I watched this week, but the last weeks' episodes I just caught these matches on their YT or other means.

I guess, but I was most into that idea a year or two ago when they unified the other belts

Anyway, Reddit.
I feel it's worth noting that the only matches the crowd gave 2 fucks about were Roman Reigns murdering fools and Punk & Bryan vs. The Wyatt's.
I get it, smarks will complain, but nobody could justify to me that Orton, The Big Show, Triple H, & Stephanie McMahon should be the main focus of one of the alleged "bigger" PPV's in 2013.
Cena & Orton posing to end the show, teasing a unification match, and the crowd couldn't care less, meanwhile The Shield & The Wyatt's just look at each other and 20,000 fans are pissing themselves with excitement, or Daniel Bryan & CM Punk team up with entire arena's loudly chanting their names.
I'm sorry, I like my wrestling better when crowds & fan reaction decided who gets top positioning.
Opinions are my own.

I'd like to see a unification, even if it's just a brief run where someone is acknowledged as holding both belts and being the unified/undisputed champion, with both titles continuing to exist and ultimately being separated again (perhaps through the use of MITB). With Cena/Orton in the picture though, it doesn't feel as fresh.

Triple H announced on Raw tonight that the WWE TLC PPV, which takes place in 3 weeks, will be headlined by a title unification match.

The WWE World Title and WWE Title will be hung above the ring and John Cena and Randy Orton will go one-on-one in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match.

Well, that is one way to get Cena the WWE Title ASAP and relegate Orton back to Smackdown....

That is Wrestlezone greatness there, evidently HHH never said unification, just that both belts will be up for grabs. Pretty clearly just a way to swap champions....

Unification is probably meant to be implied, but that would be a different scenario in and of itself. I would prefer temporary unification, though.

Yeah I don't give the writing crew that much credit. I also see it as a cheap way of sneaking the main title back on cena's shoulder instead of handing to him like they usually do.
