It's certainly different, but I wouldn't say it's bad, I think it works. It takes a bit of getting used to but again, it's growing on me.

I remember going to an indie event during high school, Tony Atlas was there.....other than that I think I remember being scared by a wrestler as a small child at the high school for a show, but yea, it will be interesting at the very least.

Calling the facility they are running tiny is an understatement though

Good enough for a house show. If the action is good and the crowd hyped up, I'm sure it'll be a good atmosphere.

It was fantastic. Crowd was hot, the TNA mic people did a great job keeping everyone hyped, and it was just a great experience all around.
Since I was picking up my ticket there I got to skip the line and get right in, which was awesome. When I took my seat (near the top of the bleachers, didnt want my view blocked) I noticed Velvet Sky walking through the gym to go do autographs up front. No, one, noticed, her. She was in streets but I was surprised no one noticed as she was walking through groups.
The wrestling itself was nothing to write home about. No high spots or big bumps, mostly comedy and in-match verbal stuff. Still very entertaining and it never got too corny which was good. I submitted a full recap to PWinsider, so if they run it I'll just link to it. Bully is a king on the mic though.
Edit: Damn they're quick - http://pwinsider.com/article/77080/421- ... t.html?p=1

I got a lot of high speed video, which is damn hilarious because its wrestling. iirc they said no video capture but I couldn't hear them clearly other than "flash photography is allowed, and encouraged". So I don't want to upload it to my YT for the sake of my other stuff. If I stitch it together, I'll upload it somewhere for you guys.
Small personal cameras are allowed in the venue. Commercial photography, flash photography, professional cameras and recording devices are not permitted.

But here are some pictures I took, the auditorium filled up nicely.

Cool. (Y) Good seats, sounds like it was well worth it for the experience even if the matches weren't all stellar.

like I said, not stellar wrestling wise, but entertaining without getting too corny. Everyone played the crowd well.

Heard that Undertaker & Team Hell No vs The Shield was a really good TV match, even PPV worthy.

WWE decided not to do a paid YouTube channel (you pay for the channel monthly and get access to all content) but TNA scooped that shiz right up.

There are a few free PPVs, $5 a month for all of it.

Looks like a waste of money to me.

Majority of those things are on Youtube I believe, unless if Youtube has taken them down.

Well yes. Although they should have added to the channel the TNA/New Japan joint events. :D

Ziggler's currently out indefinitely after suffering a concussion. Definitely the responsible way of handling an injury like that after what happened with Bret Hart and so many other wrestlers throughout the years, though the situation doesn't bode well for an extended title reign if he's not able to work.

It remains to be seen whether it's a work or a shoot. If it's a shoot, it's definitely not cool on his part and TNA shouldn't let it slide. The way they've been playing it up on Twitter, combined with the fact that TNA haven't been quick to issue an apology or discipline him does point to it being a work. I'm sure the dirtsheets will continue to cover it.

That is the ongoing problem with Cena's booking, though to be fair he lost quite a lot last year. Is TNA really doing so much better by essentially rehashing the nWo for the 68,429,833rd time, though?

It's been a consistent storyline that was well developed, explained, and had a few decent swerves. The recent stuff with D'Lo leaves a lot to be desired, but if it ends up with him ousted then all for the better. Return of Abyss was huge. Seeing Sting lobbying AJ like he was with NWO is nostalgic and works with the AJ storyline from the past year.

Consistent and 'logical' storylines, great in-ring stuff, and no hot-shotting angles or suppressing of talent for the same old guys.

I've made my case over the past year or so, if you don't want to give it a chance, don't bother starting now especially if you are enjoying E

Logic and consistency aside, it still feels like too much of an nWo re-hash to me. I know you're enjoying it and that's fine, I'm sure TNA are doing some good things. It hasn't drawn me in though and as long as Hulk Hogan insists on being a huge part of the show despite being well past his ability to draw, I don't see that changing.

The E hasn't been enjoyable in years.
