Had some JB H-Fi gift cards from completing various surveys, so I picked up the first three seasons of The Big Bang Theory, Red Dwarf: Back to Earth, the latest Family Guy volume along with Family Guy: It's a Trap and a Bob Dylan DVD for my father for Father's Day.

I'm about a third of the way through it now and I gotta say, pretty damn good read. It's some guy following the 2007 Alaska (alas ka, ha!) team through their championship run with their ref choking import player Rosell Ellis. Bunch of random stories (pick up games, height shortening scandals for import players), stuff about some PBA legends (like Kurt Bachmann), historical info on how basketball started and took off, and a side story about Quemont Greer and the holy shit that wouldn't fly in the US coaching stories about Yeng Guiao (the pistol thing).

yea it's a good read so far.

Better take a look where I could get that to read too.

That douche. I remember him landing out of bounds "saving" the ball and called a timeout in which a referee granted -- though during that time he was playing with the crowd-favorite team.

for some reason I want to download or make PBA mods now, and I feel like harassing Andrew for no reason, and I hate Jae for no apparent reason. WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME

also, Lean, have you ever been "chanced"? :cheeky:

Well um, no. But I do that on occasion when nobody's looking. Like if on a public transport and by fate there's a young lass with big bumpers and -- wait.

They see me roooolllin'......

Got it for $800, needed a second car with the wife starting an internship this fall/winter.

My mom got one of these new back in 2000-2001, so in high school I got to drive that little go-kart around. That thing is still around now....but I got quite the reputation driving it. Not only was I the 6'6" guy driving around in a clown car....but after my mom saw an episode of MTV Cribs she did this.

Admittedly I haven't seen all the Star Wars movies umpteen times as I'm sure others around these parts have, but the scene that immediately came to mind when Lean mentioned it was the one at the end of Revenge of the Sith. This one:
