Fake shit. Ive seen the ring collapse just like this and previous Big Show superplex when they did it in a scary segament for Undertaker or something. I dont remember well. But they probably used some hydrolics bullshit underneath. WWE is so lame now. BTW guys are they still a PG rated show?

Looks like the same way they did with Brock and Big Show before.

Of course it's "fake", it was a pre-planned spot. It's not that overused though, so I reckon it still looks cool. Got the crowd fired up too.

Besides I remember how Brock/Show's ring collapsed too, it's basically alike.

Same here, especially during his series of matches with Daniel Bryan. Also, he makes Edge's Spear look painful when it hits.

Except they had a match after it, which was pretty friggin cool, even if it was a Cena match.

Looks like there'll be a match between JR and Cole next week, with Cole quitting if he loses. This would be a perfect opportunity to give Cole and his heel character a rest (or move him into a managerial role) and just have JR and King on commentary, but I get the feeling JR will be humiliated once again and we'll continue to be subjected to Cole.

yeah he's really good at selling a lot of moves that in my opinion seem really weak and doesn't quite hit the point of overselling. he did a good job selling all of kofi's high flying moves on raw too.

For me the best part of the ring collapse was how the referee bounced.

Not a bad way to continue the build for the Wrestlemania match, increase the buyrate for Survivor Series and let The Rock work off any ring rust.

The Cole character seems to be back in full effect (watched smackdown, part of Raw) I'm done watching again....

Yep. Vince McMahon isn't stupid, he's definitely had good ideas over the years and I don't think you can have as much success as he's had purely by luck. However, Cole's character is an example of how he's sometimes just not in touch with what the audience wants to see and hear.

Again, I'd love to see JR win that match next week on RAW and force Cole to "quit", giving the character a rest. However, I still think it's more likely they find a way to humiliate JR again.

I've watched some old Smackdown episodes (2002-2005) and for some reason I've found Micheal Cole really annoying even though he was a face. I remember back in the day the he was alright. Maybe its the effect of his heel character and commentary as of the moment.

 on Cena.

It could be. As a face he was relatively inoffensive, far from great but competent enough as the number two announcer in the company. What had potential as a short heel run has gone on far too long and done little for the quality of his work.

EDIT 2: Did they edit that Cena jizz out on Smackdown when they show it again in the Awesome Truth/Air Boom match?

EDIT1: Before that...

I guess it's the same guy wearing that same shirt from Vengeance.

So, JR/Cole turned out to be Cole making fun of JR again without any kind of confrontation. Terrible.

Seeing Raw and Smackdown last week: Wow. Not to the point of awe but I really find past week's Smackdown better than Raw.

As expected, the Cole/JR stuff turned out to be another excuse to try to embarrass JR and force the idea that Cole is awesome on everyone. It goes to show what an interesting person Vince McMahon is though; it's fascinating how someone can be so brilliant and yet so clueless at the same time.

Not much else to say that hasn't been said before. I'm beyond fed up with this Cole stuff; they'll hotshot really interesting angles like the one with CM Punk yet they drag the intolerable Michael Cole Show on for almost a year. It boggles the mind.
