Interesting to take a look at some of these, they're likely similar to what 2K's signed, and what 2K and EA have with the NBA for example.

The release date for WWE 2K14 has been announced: October 29th, 2013.

According to an earnings release, the game will be published “across all major platforms and distribution channels.”

I wouldn't hold my breath on there being a PC version, but maybe there's an outside chance.

Booking Revolution on Android/iOS too, that has in-ring stuff you can watch or play too. Not too deep, but interesting enough for mobile.

You can kind of do that with WWE Universe mode in WWE '13, since you can sim matches if you so choose. The GM modes in a few of the latter Smackdown vs RAW games allowed that as well.

Not too surprising. I'm guessing the only major differences will be better graphics and loading times.

Saw that posted on WNW this morning.

The series has done that before and it's been alright. Here Comes The Pain probably did it the best, though Road to Wrestlemania and in particular Attitude Era Mode last year did the set storyline mode approach extremely well.

My Twitter feed was full of Ledesma retweeting people announcing they'd pre-ordered a couple of weeks ago. Before anything about the game had been announced. People are mental.

I guess if they liked the previous few iterations and have trust in the brand, so be it. Their money, after all. That said, I very rarely pre-order games these days and certainly not this early in the picture.
