Big name not getting out of the group stage: Spain - I am picking Chile and Netherlands to get out of the group. Australia is going to break Spain's heart with an upset win in their last group match. ;)

Like against Serbia in 2010. :/

;)

I am one step closer to my prediction... maybe not the Aussies pulling off an upset against Spain but man wouldn't that be great! (Y)

So that was Sturridge I thought it was Sterling
I could say the TV isn't high-def and lack of sleep at that time (6 AM, been watching since 12 AM) made me confuse the two even with the commentator babbling or I could just say all black people look the same, going for the latter. Racism! Screw your hashtagSayNoToRacism FIFA!

lol physio, says a lot about England's fitness in the tournament, getting cramps and choking like LeBron.

Balotelli also with a very tame celebration for his standards after scoring a goal, he really wants to go back to the EPL by not pissing off the English fans lol

Couldn't you tell from his dance celebration?

Sterling was impressive for a 19 year old in his first WC match. That early shot from him looked like it was in.

lol at the French team saying a drone plane was spying on them during practice.

Switzerland vs Ecuador

First goal by Ecuador with a header from a free kick.

Great headers and set piece goals already from different matches this early in the World Cup. (Y)

HOLY MEATBALLS THE SWISS TIE IT WITH A HEADER OF THEIR OWN FROM A CORNER KICK. 1-1
HEADERS! SET PIECE GOALS! SAME GAME! I came.

Shaqiri looks huge. If he was 2-3 inches taller he'd be mowing down defenders like grass.

Wow, Switzerland with a goal in the few seconds remaining of additional time, Ecuador devastated. 2-1
Impressive for the simple reason that instead of complaining to the ref when the Swiss player went down after a tackle he got up fast and continued the break which resulted in the Swiss goal to steal the win. It's diving done right.
Good game Swiss. :applaud:

France vs rightful World Cup winner Honduras

Who's the midget?...oh it's Valbuena.

So that's how you pronounce Gotze, I thought it's goatse...

This World Cup is spoiling me with goals from headers and set pieces. Germany 2-0. Suck it Portugal.

Well this game's competitiveness ended early. Portugal shooting themselves in the foot with a red card for stupidity.

lol Germany 4 player fake on the free kick.

I was shocked. It was totally out of character for Pepe to do something stupid and get sent off.

13 red cards in his career now. Zidane would laugh at his "headbutt" though.

Iran and Nigeria combo breakers. Boring 0-0 draw :shake:

Belgium vs Algeria 1st half just ended, god the Belgians suck. Fellaini's suckiness must be contagious.

Commentator: "Vincent and company ends the first half down by a goal..."

wtf Fellaini ties it 1-1 at 71 minutes with a header from a long pass.
Where the fuck was this Fellaini during the EPL season.

Mertens! 2-1!
Belgium should be always on the attack instead of holding the ball like a shite version of tiki-taka.

wtf Fellaini shitting on his haters and Man Utd fans, why is he good here, he was supposed to suck like he did with Man Utd, fucking Moyes.

The hell Belgian and Algerian players speak French, disgusting. I was fooled into watching this! I must wash myself to rid the filth of listening to French.

Brazil vs Mehico. End of 1st half no score from either side.
Mexican goalie doing fantastic work like he's border patrol keeping the ball out as if it was Mexican.

His agent will be happy because he is a free agent and will probably get some big offers now.

I remember years ago he was linked to Man Utd. I was surprised when he moved to a crap team in France.

Belgium won. That dark horses are up and running

Hell yes Mexico keeping Brazil to a no goal draw. (Y)

Disappointed with the Russians to let themselves finish to a 1-1 draw with South Korea.

Good game by the Australians so far in the first half keeping 1-1 tie with Holland, more importantly showing that the Dutch aren't unstoppable considering the prison rape they did of Spain...

...could change in the 2nd half though.

Yep. So I'm going to enjoy it whilst I can.

Silly Cahill with a dumb tackle and will miss our third game through suspension. :shake:

Australia > Spain confirmed with that 2nd goal for the Aussies.

Dick Van Persie tying it 2-2 for the Dutch, only consolation is that he won't be around for their match with Chile.

Another good effort. Bad defending cost us again though.

Bring on Spain (Y)

Even with that 3-2 loss Australia is better than Spain's 1-5 prison rapeage loss against Netherlands.
Speaking of Spain...

Chile looks like they are going to asswhoop Spain also.
Chile had two near goals in the opening minutes of the game and scored a goal already for a 1-0 lead in the first half.

Even if they win this match Spain is done. RIP tiki-taka.
Tiki-taka is shite without a good defense and Spain's defense right now in this World Cup is shite.

So much for Spain winning this match, down 0-2 already before the 2nd half, even before the 2nd goal Spanish players were happily strolling on the pitch instead of running to the ball that's about to land on their own half of the field.

So how many of you guys picked Iker Casillas as Best Goalkeeper?
