"Rebound: The Legend of Earl 'The Goat' Manigault" is my next favorite bball move after "He Got Game". Accdg to Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Earl Manigault is the greatest bball player of all time.

Semi-pro ranks up there for me too. It is suppose to be a comedy, but apparently most of it was borrowed from reality. Even the wrestling bear.

And take a gander at Larry Brown's threads here:

According to Larry Bird, Michael Jordan is God when MJ dropped 61? pts. on the Celtics during their playoff series. So...
God >>> greatest basketball player

Nah, we can't immediately assume that. I think balling is not God's best sport. I figure God to be more of a craps kind of guy. But if he played a sport, I think He'd probably be a bowler. If you think about it, the 8th commandment says "Thou shall not steal". If God follows this, then He'd have 0 career stls. How can you then say he is the greatest player?

Actually, according to Wikipedia, God has 2,514 career steals, averaging 2.35 steals per game.

He doesn't steal, he makes the offensive player turn it over with his harassing defense.
God does ball. (Notice that the shot goes in despite the drop kick)

^I've seen it but I think it has some chick flick elements and that definitely isn't good. I would've appreciated if the movie was more about basketball than it was about love.

Above the Rim, Coach Carter and White men can't Jump are some of my favourites, I used to love Above the Rim back in the day but Coach Carter is probably my favourite now. I haven't seen all of He Got Game and have yet to find a copy of it anywhere so I can't rate that one yet.

According to imdb.com, it's the lowest rated movie on the site.
I'm still planning to check it out though, even if it is supposedly awful.

There's nothing to get over, I know Sauru hates that movie. It was intended as a "Which is worse/Which would you rather?" type of question.

Andrew's right in asking Sauru. We deserve an answer.
Crossover or Celtic Pride damnit?!

It has zero percent on Rotten Tomatoes.

I suggest you watch out closely for the only saving grace of the film, Wayne Brady.
