The Smoking Thread

i started smoking pot when i was 12, then smoking when i was 16 all kinds of lights..malboro lights and the likes. i pretty smoke 3 sticks a day, then i got a dreaded lung disease called BRONCHITIS the summer of my 17 birthday where i smoke 3 packs one afternoon. after that i left smoking smoke in my lungs. when Jona said that smoking laws are relaxed in Chile....wait till you get to the philippines....."THERE IS NO SMOKING LAW"!!!!!!!! you can smoke even when there are 60 NO SMOKING SIGNS at your face and you wont get fined. hell you can even smoke at the senate hearings. i can see a kid as young as 6 smoking at the subs...man o man my country is really a cool tiny hell......hope poeple will do something soon...

and yeah quit smoking: it is bad for your health

Yeah right, if thats the case almost everyone in the Philipinnes would have some form of cancer by now.

Public smoking seriously needs to be stopped, its fine by me to kill yourself but dont take down anyone else with you to meet the Reaper.

use to smoke weed, don't anymore, haven't really touched the stuff in a couple of years now....I smoked it for a good couple of years....never paid for the stuff, but always given to me....even though it's still pretty good, my memory is nowhere near as good as it was....

I always preferred drinking anyways....

as for ciggies, nah, they suck....there's no point....

lung cancer and cardiovascular diseases is the number 2 killer here in our country next to heart diseases. guess the statistics don't lie after all

at my school, or at least in my grade, the people who smoke are really frowned upon. in other words, theyre all fags. thats not to generalize that all smokers are fags, two of my favorite cousins smoke, and theyre cool, its just thats how it is where im from. It's different circumstances for everyone.

I've never tried a cigarette... in my town the only kids who really smoke are the street bums who go to school everyday apparently only to stand around in front of it and smoke.. I can't stand the smell of them so I never want to try them. I haven't tried weed either, but that's mostly because I can have fun without substance.

My best friend's dad used to smoke (I think a lot) but he cut back, still did it though. He got lung cancer and then a brain tumour. It was the worst type of cancer, level 4 or whatever, and it was awful, but he survived. But then it came back again, I believe in his back. He survived again. It's not unlikely it could come back again. The worst part? He still has occasional cigarettes, because it is too painful to ignore the addiction.

I would stay away from them if I could. Might as well just shoot yourself and save years of agony and pain.

I didn't see him when he had it, but afterwards he had lost his hair and a lot of weight.

Next time someone you're close to is dying, please tell me so I can crack jokes about it

I live about 30 minutes from Ottawa... a small town called.. well, I don't want to say lol because it's the internet. But it's really close to Kanata anyways. And very small population... and lots of smokey dudes. There was recently a problem of them like assaulting old ladies in front of a thrift store.
