That's a nice fat pecentage , if you want to take up a light form of fitness-bidynuilding anytime soon. Anything below 10% and it will help you look ripped up.

Thanks, but apperently I should gain atleast 3% fat to be more healthy,
Anyway, I'm gonna do step 2 in this program tonight

lol, I think I need to gain about 10%

I used to be really skinny, I'm still pretty skinny now except I started lifting a few weights.

How tall & heavy are you?
Fri Jul 01, 2005 2:17 am
I'm 5'5" or 5'6", and 101 lb.
Fri Jul 01, 2005 2:41 am
I'm 6'2" and I gained 10 pounds in the last 2 months (I'm 180 now), I'm trying to bulk up to have a better chance to play college ball at Butler. So I can't help you Doobie, I only know how to gain muscle, not lose fat. Sorry man.
Fri Jul 01, 2005 4:36 am
I'm at 5'11" and 193 lbs, but I'm contemplating whether I should cut or continue bulking. I'm at around 12%-14% body fat, which is healthy, but too high for a ripped 6 pac. Depending how busy I'll be the next month, I think I might go for a short cut.
Fri Jul 01, 2005 5:21 am
i think like 190-195 might be a good number to aim for indy, i dont know lol
im 6'2" 183lbs right now so we in the same class lol

this chink suggests to load up on fat burning pills, like ripped fuel and do very high intensity cardio. no fried foods or late nite eats
or to disguise your gut, go heavy on your chest/shoulder workouts.
Fri Jul 01, 2005 10:13 am
I'm 6' 2" and 210 lbs at the moment. I tried to see how many times I could bench 185 lbs yesterday, and I ended up with 17, huffing and puffing... With a bit more work, I could reach Graham's 26 repetitions...
Fri Jul 01, 2005 3:51 pm
wow you could lift weights!!!!!!!!!!!! i can barely lift 160 lbs for 3 10 rep or a straight 15
anyways do fat burners have side effects my "ONE PACK" still seems bothering me you know
Fri Jul 01, 2005 4:58 pm
I did 100 situps yesterday (30+30+40), and i plan to do this every training session.
That have to do to get a 6pack

I don't have an amazing sixpack, but I know I used to do 100 a day and it helps a lot.
Fri Jul 01, 2005 10:06 pm
Yeah, and there is often some machines in the gym that works out your stomach.
Since I only got 9% bodyfat it's probably quite easy for me to develop a 6pack

You gotta do more than just 100 situps.
1.) Do crunches, situps work the lower back more (which is often mistaken).
2.) You can't eat cake and stuff like that because it will only stop your progress.
3.) There's lots of different ab workouts you could do too, like "riding the bike". You lay on your back and bring each leg up to your chest seperately, and keep repeating, it's like you're riding a bike-Keep your feet off of the floor though, keep them 6 inches in the air at most. Also you can lift your feet 6 inches off the floor and bring both knees to your chest at the same time, repeating. And to cap it you can just hold your feet at 6 inches, spread them apart, and bring them back together.

Thanks for the tips ruffy. However, i'm not familier with the term "crunches", can you explain please.
Sat Jul 02, 2005 2:54 am
For crunches, you basically get in situp position, and then you lift your shoulders/head (of course using your abs) in a motion like you're trying to get up and see something that's a little above your sight already. Instead of lifting your whole back up, you just lift your head/shoulders basically, it's a very small situp (and your lower back doesn't do anything). When I said doing 100 helps, I meant crunches and just forgot to say it.
Sat Jul 02, 2005 2:57 am
Situps is where you move your upper body all the way to your knees, crunches is where you only "crunch" your abs by raising your shoulders and not your back (but you're isolating your abs).
Crunches and abs machines don't work as well as it actually does.. nutrition and various intensities of abs exercises work the best, and to get a six pac, so much of it depends on how well you eat. You're at 9% body fat, so you should have a six pac now, unless you're too skinny

The more muscle, the more "six pac" you have, as long as you're at the right body fat %.

Doobie, I followed my own method. I did 5 sets of single strokes. Masturbated about 25 times in total. Now I'm sitting here drenched in sweat, I think I've lost about 20 pounds since last night. The wet suit worked great too.

I see, so if I only want to workout my stomach I can as well just do crunches instead of situps?
Sat Jul 02, 2005 10:34 pm
Yeah, basically crunches are more effective in targeting your abs.

How did you find out your bodyfat percentage
Sat Jul 02, 2005 11:08 pm
Situps should be banned from every training schedule, effective immediately. There are only 10 people in th eworld right about now that can perform situps the right way, and every body else is straining his back more than working out his abs in the process.
Take it from a 10 year gym veteran: DO NOT DO SITUPS, DO CRUNCHES.

They added a bunch of strings and stuff on my body and somehow calculated it from there. I'm not 100% sure of how it works though.

Ok, fuck situps. I will only do crunches now then.
So I don't need to lift my back at all when doing crunches, just the head and shoulders if I understood it right.

Yes. And maintain yourself on the peek position for at least a fraction of a second before going back down.
