Who is she??

i need help finding a good font on this wall got ideas

i found one this is what i got

I'm not really happy how this turned out with the picture, and the font color is terrible but I couldn't really think of something else to use. I worked hard on the background though and I thought it was pretty nice so I finished it.

The background is nice, but without any kind of effect on the text or KG it doesn't look very good.

What brush/brushes did you use on the background.

Maybe I'll work a little more on it later, but chances are I won't continue that wall anymore. I got the brushes for that off deviantart, http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/17576861/

Here's a tip for an effect on KG. I told Mike for his Iguodala sig.

Create a duplicate layer of KG, desaturate the top layer. Now hit ctrl-u (hue/saturation) on that top layer and give it a light blue tint (check the colourize box). Set the saturation nice and low (25-35) and OK. Now set that layer to 'overlay'. Boom! Tough actin' Tinactin!... I mean, now you have an effect. Try using different blending styles on the top layer for different effects. ie. My sig's player effect is a duplicate layer set to hard light, but I changed the levels to get some good contrast. And so you could see details.

Scanlines would take away from the background in my opinion. I just added a quick little text effect, but it looks pretty good now, bg + bluetint + text

I like it how it is, maybe light effects would make it better but I like it.

Some light effects to make the outside darker and put more focus on Kevin would be good. Just save it as a different file name and try it. No harm in trying.

That's the small version of course, it's actually 1600*1200.

fade the rays more...like the one next to him be 75 opacity, and the next 50 and so on....

the first ones 50 then they go down by 8% each time.

I don't like Chris Webber's arm in there. Other than that its good.

For all our sakes, change the pic on the right, that arm is scaring the bejeebus out of me.

By the way, that is also a very nice wall Colin, I just like the feel of it for some reason, it's like a circle sort of.

I've been working on this STAT wall for a little while. It started out like trash, but I think I've gotten it pretty good now.





Anyone have suggestions, and also do you like the normal picture better or the one with contrast (sort of like the sun is shining on him)?

Here's what I would do...
Saturate the background a bit more.
Put a layer of all black over top the background, but underneath the 'sun' and Put a layer mask on it.
Use the radial gradient to fade the black so that all that's left is some black on the outside. That draws attention to Stoudemire.

Change the fonts up. The "Can't Hold..." font has too much pink in it, give it a similar effect to what you did for the sun, and maybe put it in the top left like Amare is reaching for it. Then some kind of effect on the cursive Amare.

But that background and sun look great. And that's a great slogan for that pic you chose seeing as Pau is trying to hold him down.

Saturated some more, used the gradient (I think you were suggesting a little darker, but it looked nice), fixed my mistake on making the pink glow bigger on the "Can't hold" text and added a glow to the cursive signature. Better?

Looks much better, I'd make the glow more purple to match the background. But it's fine as is. You are sure getting better fast.
