Professional Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH, etc)

Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

Not a fan of The Crow persona but if he's paired up against Taker, it would work for me.
The classic Sting look would go well with the WWE PG.

i love it how jericho still does his hair flip (at 4:36) even though he hasnt had long hair in forever.

and the video on raw for taker's return would work for sting if it's the crow sting since there's someone in a long jacket in it.

oh and i watched an episode of SD... the first one in months because booker was on. i regretted it afterwards, but it was nice to see booker back on tv

Striker-Cole-Booker for an announce team would sound better I guess. Not that Josh Matthews is doing a bad job but I think Striker does an awesome job.

Striker?? i think he is terrible. he always sounds condescending like he's better than you because he used to wrestle or something (ive never heard of him as a wrestler but i bet he sucked)

plus, a mathews/booker tag team is a good counter to cole's over the top heelishness unlike the way the king just used to take it on raw.

I'm not a fan of Striker either. He's got a flat delivery and doesn't really seem to know if he wants to be a heel or face announcer, yet not to the point of being a legitimate tweener. Instead, he just goes back and forth during matches all the while contradicting himself and not in a way that makes him entertaining as a heel announcer, just foolish-sounding and annoying. A lot of smarks seem to love him but that's another one I just don't get or agree on.

According to WNW, Jericho is in negotiations to return. Since the 2/21/11 promo was so vague, they could easily change gears and have him come back if they haven't got Sting or Taker isn't up to wrestling at Wrestlemania/is brought back a different way.

I saw on wrestlezone that WWE officials and Sting didn't have any contact with each other at all.

Also LOL on Mark Henry's BO.

Yeah, the Sting stuff is all just rumours and speculation at this point. Fun idea to ponder, though.

Embarrassing goof by R-Truth but Cole's attempt to cover it up was just awful. King's tired delivery on "Sit down" and "You've made your point" comments kind of sounded like a shoot, you can practically hear the "Man, I wish I was still working with JR" in his voice.
